Anime Adventures features a wide range of heroes and villains taken from various popular anime franchises, and you have to summon them in order to participate in all kinds of activities and challenges.

If you’re thinking about getting into the game, here are some tips that will help you in your journey as you’re starting out!

Complete Guide | Everything You’ll Need to Know

Codes & Summoning

Upon spawning into the world, as a new player, the first thing you’ll want to do is run over to the terminal that has the word “CODES” floating above it.

To get some starter gems and other freebies, input the following codes:

  • SACREDPLANET
  • UNLEASHFUSESOON
  • AMEGAKURE
  • SIXPATHSUPD

These may expire eventually, so make sure to use these immediately just in case they replace them with new codes!

With these free gems, head on over the Summon building just straight ahead from where you first spawned in.

Here, you should try to pull for as many times as you can in order to improve your starting experience.

If you’re lucky, you may just get a mythic character, which will greatly increase the speed in which you can complete the earlier bits of content.

Playing Through the Story

Now that you’ve gotten some starter units, you’re ready to start actually playing the game. Click on the “Play” button on the left hand side of the screen to teleport to where you can select a world.

You will first be playing through the Planet Namak world, and once you’re done playing through all the acts, you can proceed to the next one.

Keep playing through the worlds until you reach Hollow World. This is where you will first encounter flying enemies.

In order to deal with these waves, you will need to use characters that have the Hill or Hybrid tag on them.

The only way to acquire such units is by summoning them, which will require more gems if you don’t already have one.

Getting More Gems

To acquire more gems, simply do your daily quests every day until you have summoned the necessary units. If you need a quick burst of them, as a new player, one option is to play through the Infinity Castle.

Click on the “Areas” button on the lower right hand side of the screen and head over to the Infinity Castle.

This game mode will reward you a certain number of gems per room clear. If you’re stuck in Hollow World, you will be able to progress up to around eighteen rooms, which will give you a lot of gems to summon more.

Leveling Units & Fusing

There are a couple of ways to level up your units. First is via fusion, which is done by selecting a unit and clicking on “Fuse”.

This method will require you to sacrifice other units in order to level one up, so only choose this if you have spare unwanted characters.

The other way is by clicking on “Feed” and using various items to give a unit experience points. Depending on where you are in the story, you probably already have a bunch of these on hand.

Evolving Units

In order to evolve units, you will need specific items that you can get via crafting, doing missions, getting lucky with the travelling merchant shop, or by raiding.

This is something that you can work towards after you’re finished with the story mode. Evolution will drastically increase a unit’s effectiveness, but it isn’t exactly something that you can do early on as a new player.

Participating In Raids

Raids are something that you can attempt after you’ve completed the story mode. These are incredibly hard bits of content that may require you to work with other players.

Some of the lower level ones may be attempted early on, while the more difficult raids will absolutely need you to be with a team due to how hard this activity can get.

Relics & Traits

Traits are passive buffs that increase a character’s stats in varying ways. In addition to randomly getting a unit with a trait after summoning them, the only way to get these is by rerolling at the cost of reroll tokens or star remnants.

Reroll tokens cost real money, though you can get some from the in-game battle pass.

Star Remnants, on the other hand, are acquired from daily challenges or by removing a unit’s shiny status via an NPC named Lucil, who is hanging out in the main hub area.

Relics provide further buffs to your units, but these will not be relevant until you progress much further into the game.

This is because these require a lot of materials and gold, which will take a while to get.

Getting More Gold

One easy way to make gold over time is by turning on the auto sell option in your settings. Specifically, you will want to turn this on for Rares and Epics, as they typically become useless later on in the game.

By doing this, you will automatically get more gold every time you summon low tier units, which you are going to be doing a lot as time goes by.

Anime Adventures options

And those are the basic things that you need to keep in mind as you start out in Anime Adventures. There are more features that you can explore in the game, but as a new player, these are all of the relevant things that you need to know until much later!
