Players never get a chance to feel bored when it comes to Anime Champions Simulator. So much new content making its way to the game. At times, players might feel overwhelmed when navigating this new content. After all, new mechanics add variety and interesting challenges.
New content making its way to the game includes the new Shrine upgrades and Quests. However, many players have been facing problems related to these new content additions.
In this guide, we will help you understand them and also provide any updates related to them. Let’s dive into the guide!
Shrines & New Quests Complete Guide
While the star of the show are the Shrines and Dungeons upgrade, we will also be touching on the new Christmas quest. You will definitely want to check it out as it provides some great rewards.
How To Unlock Shrine & Dungeons
Starting off, we will discuss the Shrine boosts that you can see in your Upgrades Menu. If you look in the description, you need to activate Shrines to upgrade it.
For a bit, you could not actually access the upgrade as the Dungeon update did not roll in, which is where the Shrines for activation were located.
However, with a recent update, you can now finally upgrade your Shrine, due to Dungeons being added.
So, we will be looking at how you can unlock Dungeons to help upgrade your Shrine upgrade.
The first thing you will want to do is actually go to the new Virtual Palace area. However, before you can go there, you will need to unlock the portal in the location shown below.
Unlocking the portal will cost you a total of 1.2M Dark Matter.
Now, you can actually access Virtual Palace in the Fast Travel menu as a new addition to Galaxy 2. Teleport to Virtual Palace and you will find yourself in a large explorable map. Near the spawn point, you should be able to make out the palace area.
Head towards the gates and you should see an NPC by the name of Trapped Player. You will need to talk to him and get your first Quest from him.
Completing all of his quests is necessary if you want to unlock the Dungeons.
Your first quest will require you to kill the NPCs shown below.
You can easily find the Cave Prowler and Tunnel Goblin NPCs by looking around the spawn area. There will be plenty of them in the streets outside the palace. Defeat the required enemies to complete the first quest.
Now, return to the Trapped Player NPC, for your next quest. This next quest is pretty much the same, requiring you to kill another set of NPCs.
You can find these NPCs by heading away from the palace gates, beyond the streets. When you go past the trees, you should find yourself in a hilly area that looks distinctly different from the rest of the map. Here, you will be able to find all the NPCs you need to complete the quest.
Return to the Trapped Player NPC, and you will get yet another set of enemies you will need to kill.
You can find these NPCs by heading through the gate inside the palace itself. The easier NPCs will be in the courtyard while the Crypt Generals will be a bit deeper inside the palace.
Finally, return to the Trapped Player NPC for one final quest. Now, you will need to actually face a Boss, known as the Unstoppable Crypt Boss.
You can locate this Boss by going all the way to the end inside the Palace. Be prepared though, as he is an incredibly Tanky Boss and it will take a lot of time to defeat him.
However, once you do defeat him, you will finally be able to unlock the Dungeon. The Dungeon portal will appear in the same chamber as the Boss.
Also, you will need to spend 50M Dark Matter before the Dungeon Mode becomes accessible to you.
Once you unlock the Dungeons, you can now access this new mode. To unlock Shrines, you will need to Start a Dungeon by going to the location shown below.
Keep in mind that the Dungeon is not always accessible, and there will be a timer at times, preventing you from joining.
However, once you do get into it, you will need to locate Shrines inside. The Dungeon will consist of various rooms and Shrines can be anywhere inside them.
A great way to locate them is by using the mini map in the left corner of your screen. Shrines will appear as blue markers on the map.
Once you’ve located a Shrine, approach it and activate it. If you remember from before, activating Shrines is the requirement for upgrading your Shrine I boost.
Go into your Upgrades Menu and you should be able to Redeem the first upgrade after activating one Shrine. For further Shrine upgrades, you will need to activate more Shrines in the Dungeon Mode.
Now that you have free access to Dungeons, you should be able to manage that pretty easily!
New Christmas Quest
On the other hand, you can also get a new Christmas Quest in the game. You can get this new Quest by going to the Holiday Lobby, where you were able to participate in all the Christmas Quests.
To get the new Quest, you must complete the first Jolly Kurijiro Quest, where you have to find 4 Stockings.
Once you complete the Quest, talk to the same NPC again. Doing so will give you access to the new Quest, Cold Feet in Winter.
All you need to do is complete the Holiday Raid 10 times to complete it. You will get a Free Exclusive Cosmic Weapon Skin for your efforts.
Keep in mind that the Christmas Event will only last for a limited time. So, complete the quest quickly before the update ends and you lose access to such an amazing skin!
