Anime Clash: Complete Beginner’s Guide

Everything you need to know as a new player right here!

Anime Clash is a Roblox game that is admittedly still in the early stages of development, but it was recently made playable for some people. With that in mind, as its release closes in, you may need a few tips and tricks as a beginner. This guide will tell you all of the basics that you need to keep in mind!

Complete Beginner’s Guide

As a new player, the first thing that you should be doing is running straight to the summoning area in the hub zone. Here, you will see different banners that you can pull from based on your current level.

At the start, your only option will be the Open Banner. As of writing this, the price for pulling is not listed, but you should definitely be rolling as much as you can to get some decent units.

Different Unit Classes

In the current version of the game, there are different unit types that each have special roles. Here is a list of existing roles at the moment:

  • Summoner – As the name implies, this class can summon minions that will scale off the main unit’s level. Great for stalling enemy waves, but not particularly strong on their own.
  • Runner – Unlike traditional tower defense units, Runners are capable of running around the field and attacking anything that moves. Somewhat weak against ranged attacks.
  • Hybrid Ranger – Same as Runners, but they have attacks that can hit from a distance, making them more versatile than their melee counterparts.
  • Nuke – These are extremely strong but expensive units that will deal a ton of damage. The downside is they will die after using their ability.
  • Healer – Unlike other units, they do not attack. Instead, their main function is to buff or heal ally units in the field.
  • Capitalist – These do not attack as well. They will, however, provide you with money for each round based on your performance. Keep them alive and you will be rich in no time.

As for which units you should pick, that will largely depend on what you got from your initial banner pulls. Just make sure to have a well-rounded selection that at least tries to cover each role.

Upgrading Your Units

In the hub area, there is an Evolve NPC that will presumably let you upgrade units to higher tiers at the cost of certain resources. However, at the moment, this NPC can only evolve one legendary unit.

In the same building as the Evolve NPC, you will find the Enchant NPC that you can access at level 5. This one actually does have a function, which is to add modifiers and bonuses to your units.

Rerolling modifiers costs a bit of in-game currency, and you can get passives of varying rarities. The best ones are presumably the mythical modifiers, though you can’t check what they do from the list.

Other Mechanics

As of writing this, there is a work-in-progress Guild system and a PVP game mode, so there is a lot to look forward to in the following months.

Finally, there are quests that you can complete. Some of these are repeatable on a daily or weekly basis, giving you another source of in-game currency.
