Complete Beginner’s Guide
Anime Impact just released and with it a lot of content for new players. For those who are jumping in fresh here are some tips and tricks as well as important mechanics that you should know!
Starting Off
When you’re starting in the game, a lot of players would think of going straight to the summons. That’s not a bad idea but a lot of players might waste their gems trying to get Mythics or Legendaries.
These units can be great and if you’re really lucky you might get them. The thing is at the start you won’t have that many gems. Try to get at least one epic and the rest of your team can be rare units. You can easily finish the game with a team like that just as long as you grind their levels and stats.
Anime Impact is a turn-based game, and it can get really slow especially if you’re playing levels, you’ve already done. When you’re grinding for exp, it can get tedious, so make sure to go to the settings. You’ll have the option to turn on Auto-Battle as well as Fastest Match Speed to make things faster!
Each unit in Anime Impact has its element type, and it can get a bit confusing when you try to remember all of them. Below is a chart that shows you the different types and their strengths and weaknesses. You can use that as a reference when playing the game manually.
Of course, when you do Auto-Battle the game does its best to take these things into account when controlling your units.
While you’re doing the main story quests, make sure to check out your Daily quests as well. These can reward you with additional Gems and Coins when you complete them, so better do those dailies!
Grinding Levels
Once you have a good team summoned with at least 1 Epic unit and a bunch of Rare ones, you’ll want to grind levels. Go do the story missions until you reach the Shinobi Forest Level 5. This is where you’ll want to grind EXP for your units.
This level gives you a whopping 2,400 EXP for each unit and the more they level the faster the grind is. Once your units can effectively, clear this level it’ll be a breeze to do it with Auto-Battle.
Once you get to Level 5, go talk to the Like Reward NPC in the HUB. It’s a one-time reward where you can get the following items:
- 15 Blessing Rerolls
- 4,000 Gems
- 6,000 Coins
Notable Areas In The Hub
When starting in the game, you’ll be sent to the game’s central Hub. There, you’ll see all sorts of shops and NPCs that you’ll want to interact with to progress through the game and get stronger. Here are all of the notable areas you should check out when going there.
Limited Shop
The Limited Shop appears every 2 hours on the server and gives you a random assortment of items. Sometimes, it sells items that are normally only gotten through the game’s cash shop or are rare so remember to check it regularly!
Challenge Mode
Once you get better units with higher rarity or stats, you can go to the Challenge Mode levels. These challenges often reward you with Gems, Coins, and even items like Candies and Luck Potions! Make sure to keep an eye on them and try to finish them to get the rewards!
Blessings NPC
Remember those Blessing Rerolls that you got from the Like Reward NPC? Well, you can use it in the Hub Blessings NPC. It’s best to try rolling for the best blessings on your best units. These blessings can range from small stat bonuses to huge ones that can make your unit overpowered!
The Gold Shop
If you have some cash to spare, you’ll want to go to the Gold Shop in the Hub which is the game’s cash shop. There, you can buy some items, premium ones, and even VIP buffs that are permanently tied to your character.
Evolution And Stat Rerolls
We left the most important area for the last and it’s the Evolution and Stat Rerolls area. The Evolution is where you can evolve your units making them stronger as well as giving you rewards. If you evolve a unit, you’ll have a guarantee that the unit will get a permanent plus 1 to all its stats along with other bonuses.
When you do evolve a unit, it will reset their levels but don’t worry, stuff like blessings is carried over!
Stat Rerolls is where you can reroll the individual stats of a unit. You can reroll each one of them or all of them if you want to. Again, it’s best to use your limited rerolls on your best units so that you don’t waste them!
Reaching End Game
Once you get your best units, as well as having some Mythic or Legendary ones, you’ll want to get to the End Game. The main thing you’ll want to do is try rerolling for better stats and blessings while doing challenges.
The true ending content comes with the Infinite Game Mode where you just go and fight an unlimited amount of waves. The higher you go the bigger your rewards are and there is even a leaderboard, so you can compete with other players!
With all of that information, you’re ready to jump into Anime Impact. Now, go out there and try the game out!
