Dark Flash shown here comes with also the Overlord trait which gives him a huge damage boost, so take note of that. Otherwise, you can see his range is at 19.2 without Idol’s buff and an SPA of 4.97 with a small reduction from Speedy on the Skill Tree.
Overall, pretty okay if you go for the SPA reduction line in the Skill Tree. Dark Flash’s SPA jumps to 12.4s on Upgrade 6, so make sure that you actually do have enough money to go to the max upgrade here. You don’t want to be stuck with a 12.4s attack cooldown.
At max upgrade below with Idol buff, Speedy skill, and Overlord trait, we get 449k damage, 54 range, and 10.7s SPA with a wide-cone shaped attack. He also hits air units, so not a bad choice in most situation.
Verdict: Dark Flash is an overall great hybrid unit, albeit not the best. With the right placement position, Dark Flash can perform well.
