Are you a fan of Attack on Titan? Well if so, then you will find AOT Revolution pretty amazing. And the best thing is, it is completely free to play on the Roblox platform. Similar to the anime, it lets you fight Titans by using blades and the mobility gear.
Prestige is one of the many mechanisms of the game that makes you stronger but there is a catch to it, you will have to start all over again. To see whether the benefits outweigh this major drawback, keep reading this guide!
Is Prestige Worth It?
Before I get started on the main topic, you should know that one of the most powerful families in the game is the Ackerman Clan. They excel in combat like none other. To take full advantage of the abilities of the Ackerman Clan, check out this build: AOT Revolution: Best Ackerman Build Guide.
Now to divert our attention back to the main topic. Simply put, going Prestige will depend entirely on you. But to make this decision easier, I will talk about the advantages and disadvantages of Prestige down below. Let’s first get started with how to actually Prestige.
How to Prestige
To Prestige, go to the Equipment tab and then click on Prestige. It will show you if you have the required amount of EXP to Prestige or not. Your Memory Slots will also be located here. Before you Prestige, I suggest you get some Prestige Scrolls which will let you reroll the Memories you get.
You can get Prestige Scroll for 3499 Diamonds from the Market or as a drop reward from Aberrant difficulty. If you need help with beating the Aberrant difficulty, then why not give this guide a quick read: AOT Revolution: How To Solo Aberrant Guide.
Boost Modifier
Once you click on the Prestige button, you will get a short cutscene. And after that, you get an option to choose a Boost from the following three options:
- Luck Boost – This will increase the drop chance of items by 7.5%.
- EXP Boost – This will permanently increase the EXP you get by 15%.
- Gold Boost – This will permanently increase the gold you get by 15%.
Important Tip: At start, you might think of getting the Gold or EXP Boost but you should not. Go with the Luck Boost instead as when you get maxed out, gold and EXP will become completely useless for you. Plus, the Boost Modifiers you get from other Prestige levels will stack up. So, after the 3rd Prestige, you will have a 22.5% Luck Boost which is extremely useful.
Memory Choice
After you select a Boost Modifier, you will be given a choice to select a Memory (out of 3). If you do not like the choices you got, you can reroll by using the Prestige Scroll you got earlier. Select the one that appeals most to you. List of all the Memories available in the game will be given at the end of this guide.
Advantages of Prestige
There are actually 3 levels of Prestige with specific level requirements. They are mentioned below:
- Prestige 1
- You need to reach level 100 (1,952,500 EXP) for this.
- This will unlock the 1st Memory Slot.
- You will also get a Boost Modifier (1st).
- The Level Cap will be increased to 125.
- And this will also unlock another Character Slot (B).
- Prestige 2
- For this, you need to reach level 125 (3,429,553 EXP).
- This will unlock the 2nd Memory Slot.
- This will also give you a Boost Modifier (2nd).
- The Level Cap will be increased to 150.
- And you will get another Character Slot (C) as well.
- Prestige 3
- To get this, you need to reach level 150 (5,265,320 EXP).
- This will unlock the 3rd Memory Slot.
- You will receive your 3rd Boost Modifier here.
- And the Level Cap will be increased to 175 which requires 7,334,070 EXP to reach.
Other than this, you will also get a decent amount of Diamonds with each Prestige level. And I should also mention that the increased Level Cap allows you to get more Skill Points. Which in return lets you get Skills which you were not able to get before.
Side Note: Speaking of Skills, the game has a pretty extensive Skill Tree. It is enough to confuse even the best of players. To help out with that, we have a guide available on it. Check it out here: AOT Revolution: Complete Skill Tree Guide.
Disadvantages of Prestige
Following are the disadvantages you will have to deal with if you do decide to Prestige:
- Your Level will be reset and you will have to start grinding EXP from start.
- Any upgrades you got on your Equipment will be lost and you will have to upgrade them again from (Grade E-).
- Your Skill Tree will be reset and you will lose your Skill Points.
- The upgrades you got for your Perks will also be lost.
- You will lose all your Gold (it will be converted into Diamonds).
- On Prestige 1 – 1500 Gold for 1 Diamond.
- On Prestige 2 – 1250 Gold for 1 Diamond.
- On Prestige 3 – 1000 Gold for 1 Diamond.
So, Should I Prestige or Not?
If it took you a long time to get to the max level cap and you do not want to lose your Perk or other upgrades, then you should avoid Prestige. Starting back from scratch can be exhausting and will require endurance on your part.
But if you do not have anything to do in the game and you have gotten pretty good, then by all means Prestige. It will give you something to do in the game and keep you busy.
