One of the most annoying things you can experience sometimes while playing Arcane Odyssey is having to fight an opponent that just won’t go down. This can happen even if you do land most of your shots and can be quite frustrating to see over and over again.
But what if we tell you that you can get the jump on your opponent with the use of potions? Sure you can try it out now that we’ve given you this info, but wouldn’t it be better to know the right potion combo first by reading the rest of the guide?
Best Potion Combo Guide
The best potion combo you can put together in Arcane Odyssey is a Smoke Gel plus a throwable Revealing Potion. You’re going to need to have Perfect Alchemy or Brewing first in order to make the potion. You can use this complete potions guide to make the items you need.
Alchemy and Brewing are essentially the same thing and are related to the game’s potion-making system. Of course we’ll also tell you what you can do with the potion so it won’t end up sitting in your inventory until you decide to log out for the last time.
What the Smoke Gel does is basically a longer version of “Blinding”, which impairs your target’s vision. While your enemy is going through all that drama, use the Revealing Potion on yourself next to know where they’re located.
Do remember that your target will glow red once they’re in range of your revealing potion. For nearby collectibles they will glow blue, purple for chests, and orange for NPCs or Sharks. If you have party members with you then they will have a green glow instead. Weirdly enough, gunpowder barrels count as NPCs so they will have an orange glow as well.
