Arcane Odyssey has added new enchants to the game, namely new tiers of enchantments and jewels. How Do The New Enchants Work?
Enchantments and Jewels have been rebalanced with mostly stats being slightly nerfed. You may be familiar with the Tier 1 or Rare-category Enchantment Scrolls and the jewels.
Tier 1 Enchantment Scrolls (Rare)
The new update has added Tier 2 and Tier 3 Enchantment scrolls or Exotic-category which we’ll discuss in a bit. Meanwhile the Tier 1 or Rare-category scrolls have been nerfed. Below is an example of the nerfed Enchantment Scroll: Strong.
Here are the current Tier 1 Enchantment stats for Equipment at Level 120:
- Strong: +6 Power
- Hard: +52 Defense
- Nimble: +18 Agility
- Amplified: +18 Intensity
- Bursting: +18 Attack Size
- Swift: +18 Attack Speed
Here are the current Tier 1 Enchantment stats for Melee/Ranged Weapon at Level 120:
- Strong: +0.1 Damage Multiplie
- Swift: +0.05 Slash Speed/-0.25 Second Reload Time
- Bursting/Amplified: +0.1 Skill Size/+0.5 Range Multiplier
For Shield Enchantments, it is now +25% Shield Durability for Sturdy and +10% Shield Blocking Power for Heavy.
Tier 2 & Tier 3 Enchantment Scrolls (Exotic)
Tier 2 Enchantment Scrolls give double the stats from Tier 1 Scrolls. For example, Strong gives you 6 Power at max level. Tier 2 Enchantment Scroll: Powerful gives you 12 Power instead. You can have a wide variety of scrolls for not just Armor, but also Cannons and Siege Weapons.
Special mention is the Enchantment Scroll: Virtuous. It gives 54 Defense and 1 Warding which increases your resistance against insanity.
Tier 3 Enchantment Scrolls on the other hand are exclusively only for Melee & Ranged Weapons, as well as Shields. These scrolls are only applicable on those equipments.
There are only three types of Exotic-category Enchantment Scrolls. And they all exert similar characteristics in which you get a major buff but at the same time, debuff in other aspects.
- Tempered: Increase Damage Multiplier and Decrease Skill Size Multiplier
- Ardent: Increase Attack Speed Multiplier and Decrease Damage Multiplier
- Dense: Increase Skill Size Multiplier and Decrease Attack Speed Multiplier
Rare Jewels
Hybrid Jewels will be in a separate section below and here we’ll be talking about basic, Perfect Jewels.
Jewels have also been rebalanced. Power jewels give +3. While Defense jewels are now nerfed to give +28 instead of +31. Meanwhile other stats have been changed to +9 instead of +6. So, we have Attack Speed, Attack Size, Agility, and Intensity jewels now giving +9.
Hybrid Jewels (Legendary & Exotic)
The best way to explain Hybrid Jewels are that they’re two jewels as one. They are way harder to find and require various ways to get them. Here are their stats at Perfect grade:
- Lapis Lazuli: +9 Attack Speed and Agility
- Larimar: +9 Attack Speed and Intensity
- Agate: +9 Attack Size and +28 Defense
- Malachite: +9 Attack Size and +3 Power
- Candelaria: +9 Attack Speed and +3 Power
- Morenci: +9 Agility and +3 Power
- Musgravite: x2 secondary jewel effect
- Painite: 1 Drawback and +125 Defense
- Kyanite: +9 Agility and Intensity
- Variscite: +9 Agility and Attack Size
