Assassin’s Creed Mirage features a range of historical sites that are extremely authentic. After all, the series has been renowned for its attention to detail when it comes to historical accuracy. Whether you are interested in history or just want to complete your codex, you will want to find these sites.
In this guide, we will show you where you can find all 13 of the Historical Sites in the Wilderness region of the game. The Wilderness is vast with small towns and large expanses of desert. But it is not without its beauty, and we will help you admire them yourself with this guide.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage: All 13 Wilderness Historical Sites Locations
There are a total of 13 Historical Sites that are scattered all around the Wilderness area of the map. Finding them can be incredibly difficult as it isn’t always obvious where they are. We have located each of them and have the locations for each below.

1. Other Palaces Historical Site
The Other Palaces Historical Site can be located in the Anbar area of the World Map.
Specifically, it can be located between the Anbar and Winter Palace labels on the map.
Interact with the Historical Site marker at the front of the palace to unlock the Other Palaces codex entry.
2. Dur-Kurigalzu Historical Site
The Dur-Kurigalzu Historical Site can be located in the large desert between the Wilderness North and Anbar labels on the Map.
You can identify this area by a large rocky structure near the river that flows from Anbar.
Once you’re done admiring the beauty of this structure, you can Interact with the Historical Site marker. This will give you the Dar-Kurigalzu Historical Site entry in your Codex.
3. Founding of Baghdad Historical Site
The Founding of Baghdad Historical Site can be found in the desert North of the Wilderness North label on the map.
Specifically, you can find it on the top of some Dunes that overlook the oasis nearby.
You get quite a beautiful view when you interact with the Historical Site Marker. Doing so will unlock the Founding of Baghdad codex entry.
4. Baghdad’s Canals Historical Site
The Baghdad’s Canals Historical Site can be found to the East of the Wilderness North label on the Map.
Specifically, they can be located on the outskirts of the town of Zubaydiyah which can be found on the map.
The Historical Site Marker is in some water canals near a large wall. Interact with the marker to unlock the Baghdad’s Canals codex entry.
5. Agriculture Historical Site
The Agriculture Historical Site can be found just North of the Wilderness North marked on the Map.
Specifically, it can be located near some fields near the river where there is a Water Mill marked on the map.
Interact with the Historical Site Marker near the operating Water Mill and equipment. This will give you the Agriculture codex entry.
6. Gates of Baghdad Historical Site
The Gates of Baghdad Historical Site can be found South East of the Wilderness North label on the Map.
Specifically, it can be found on a bridge that crosses over the river into the Quadrangle of the Persians. You can also see the Iron Gate label near this bridge.
Interact with the Historical Site Marker that can be found glowing on the bridge right before the large gates. This will give you the Gates of Baghdad codex entry.
7. Zubaydah bint Ja’far Historical Site
The Zubaydah bint Ja’far Historical Site can be found to the West or South West of the Quadrangle of the Persians marker on the map.
Specifically, this can be found on the patch of land marked by the Tomb of Zubaydah marker.
Pay your respects to the dead and interact with the Historical Site marker. This will give you the Zubaydah bint Ja’far codex entry.
8. Camels Historical Site
The Camels Historical Site can be found on the land that is the furthest South West of the Wilderness North area. It is right next to the large river that runs down the left side of the map.
Specifically, it can be found on the South West outskirts of the town of Caravanserai.
Interact with the Historical Site marker that can be located near some colorful tents. This will unlock the Camels entry in your codex.
9. Caravanserai Historical Site
The Caravanserai Historical Site can be located in the town of Caravanserai South West of the Wilderness North label. It is at the patch of land furthest away from this label near the large river.
Specifically, it can be located at the gate on the East side of the town. It is the gate you use to enter inside the town.
Right outside the entrance, interact with the Historical Site marker. This will give you the Caravanserai codex entry.
10. The One Thousand and One Nights
The One Thousand and One Nights Historical Site is located on the Northernmost side of the map in the desert. It is exactly underneath the D of the large BAGHDAD written on the map when you zoom out.
Specifically, it can be found among some rocky cliffs that form caves in the desert.
There will be a tarp that indicates the entrance into this area. In front of it, you can interact with the Historical Site marker. This will unlock The One Thousand and One Nights codex entry.
11. Death and Afterlife Historical Site
The Death and Afterlife Historical Site can be located just above the Wilderness South label on the map. It is right on the edge of where the main city begins.
Specifically you can find it underneath the House of Poulterers and Gate of the Mills markers if you zoom into the map.
Go to the red tarp that is next to the trolley and you should be able to find the Historical Site marker in front of it. Interact with the marker and this will unlock the Death and Afterlife codex entry.
12. Silk Roads Historical Site
The Silk Roads Historical Site can be found in the Wilderness South area in the town of Jarjaraya. This town is located next to the large river where it bends on the right side of the map.
Specifically, this Historical Site can be located just above the Jarjaraya label on the map after you zoom in.
Interact with the Historical Site marker that can be found near some carpets and silks in the courtyard of a building. This will give you the Silk Roads codex entry.
13. Seleucia-on-the-Tigris Historical Site
The Seleucia-on-the-Tigris can be located in the marshes in the bottom right corner of the entire World Map.
Specifically, it can be located near some ruins that you can find by zooming into the marshes.
The Historical Site marker can be found in the middle of these ruins. Interact with the marker to unlock the Seleucia-on-the-Tigris codex entry.
