The Zanj Uprising Set of weapons and armor is one of the first ones you can obtain in Assassin’s Creed Mirage. The Zanj Uprising Dagger especially gives back stamina when dodging, similar to the armor set. So, for all the people who loves to implement dodging to their gameplay, you’ve come to the right place. In this guide, I’ll show you how to find the dagger, as well as its upgrades.

All Zanj Uprising Dagger & Upgrade Locations
There are 3 locations where you can find the Zanj Uprising Dagger and its upgrades. You’ll have to solve puzzles and then open up the Gear Chests in order to acquire them. Let’s jump right into it!
NOTE: The Zanj Uprising Dagger will be located on the first Gear Chest you open from the three locations. After acquiring the dagger, all the other locations will be upgrades.
Location #1
The first location will on the The Four Markets Gear Chest. However, before you reach the chest, you’ll have to find a key. Begin by heading to the location shown below.
After arriving, use your Eagle Eye and make your way upstairs.
Here, you’ll see the NPC carrying the key we’ll need standing near the window. Pickpocket the key and make your way down.
Now that you have the key, it’s time to make your way to the Gear Chest. For directions, read further into the guide.
From the streets, make your way south and turn right in this arch shown in the image below.
Then, turn left towards this another arch shown in the image.
After that, turn right to this small arch, which will lead to an open area.
Look to your left and find this door shown in the image below. You’ll have to use the key you pickpocketed from before to enter.
First, you’ll have to Unbar this door which will lead to the Gear Chest’s location. But before that, look around the room and you’ll see two fire lamps.
You’ll need to pick them up, throw them and open the pathway towards the Gear Chest. Pick the first one up, and head towards the door you unbarred.
Turn to your right and head straight until you come across these rocks. You’ll have to throw the fire lamp into them to open up the path.
Now, make your way back and pick up the second fire lamp. Next, head inside the path we opened up earlier and throw the fire lamp to the rocks on the ceiling.
In order to reach the area you opened up, pull this shelf located in the right side of the room.
Use the shelf to climb up, and there you have it. That’s the first Gear Chest location for the Zanj Uprising Dagger.
Location #2
Up next, the second location is in the Hammam Gear Chest.
I recommend starting in this location as it’s the most linear route towards the Gear Chest.
After arriving in the location, head straight and turn right to this side of the building as shown in the image below.
Destroy the window and go head inside.
Then, located at the right side of the room, you’ll see some jars and a shelf. Destroy the jars to open up the pathway.
Then, pull the shelf to open up the doorway we’ll need to go through next.
Then, pick up the fire lamp somewhere in the middle of the room and go through the doorway you opened up earlier.
Go left and head straight, until you see these rocks on your left and on the right side of the building.
To proceed, throw the fire lamp you picked up earlier to open the doorway and head inside.
After that, go to the left room, and you’ll see the Gear Chest containing the Zanj Uprising Dagger.
Location #3
Lastly, we have third location, which is in The Great Bimaristan Gear Chest. I recommend starting in this starting point shown in the image below.
From the starting point, make your way up the rooftop area. Though just a heads up, this is a restricted area, so be careful.
After making your way up, look to your left and go up these boxes right here and onto the tower-like square house.
Then, go to your right and you’ll see a window similar to this image below. Upon looking through the window, there will be a lock that you’ll have to destroy to proceed.
In order to do that, jump to the ledge of the building to get a good view, and throw your knife to the lock to destroy it.
Next, wrap around and you’ll see the door. Make your way inside and go the right side of the house.
Here, you’ll see this shelf that you must pull back to open up the path towards the Gear Chest.
Go around and through the pathway you opened up earlier. There you have it, that’s the Gear Chest containing the Zanj Uprising Dagger.
