The Assassin’s Creed series has had some rough patches lately, with a lot of old fans not liking the direction the newer games are moving into. Along with the recent problems Ubisoft has been having these past months and you can tell that they need some help. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s new DLC is not only out but is also free for everyone that already has the base game! We all love free stuff and hopefully, this will garner new and old players alike to Assassin’s Creed. In this guide, we’ll show you how to start the new DLC: The Forgotten Saga.
How To Start Forgotten Saga In Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
If you’ve started the game from the beginning then you’ll need to progress a sizable chunk of the story first before you get to start the new DLC. For those who have done so or already finished the game then you can continue on with the guide.
Once you’ve downloaded the DLC and started the game you’ll get a quest in Ravensthorpe called A gift from the Otherworld. This is the start of the DLC quest line, so you should head there and speak to an NPC called Everold.
The quest involves building Everold’s Workshop, but don’t worry. This doesn’t really cost any raiding resources. It’s almost instant so you don’t have to wait or grind for it.
Once the workshop is done you’ll drink a new potion. This will transport you to the world of Nifelheim with the body of Odin. Yes, the story is about a Viking myth where Odin asked Hel to meet Baldr. In the game, you’ll have to fight a lot of things. If you die you start from the beginning, much like a roguelike. The original story though wasn’t that exciting. Basically, Odin asked Hel, and Hel allowed him so the story ends with Odin spending a day with Baldr. Not much of an exciting epic. So I can understand that they had to do with some artistic liberties on this one.
