Best Yuji Guide for All Mastery (Tips & Combos)

Yuji’s moveset is designed for versatility, combining quick dashes, grabs, counters, and powerful attacks that bypass blocks and ragdoll opponents. Each move can be enhanced as you progress through the masteries, unlocking devastating combos. Here’s a breakdown of his key moves and how to use them effectively.

Moveset and Keybinds

• M1: Rush Attack – Normal attacks
• F: Block
• C: Quick Step
• X: Skull Crusher – 30/55 Damage, grab, ragdolls, dash attacks
• 4: Dismantle (Mastery 4) – 30 Damage, bypass ragdoll, mid-ranged
• Q: Tiger Instinct – (I will explain this further below)
• E: Rapid Blows – Total 20/55 Damage, barrage, last hit bypass block, holdable
• R: Divergent Fist – 40 Damage, bypass block, dash attack, ragdolls
• T: Cleave – 20 Damage blockable/50 Damage grab, ragdolls
• Y: Manji Kick – 35 Damage, counter, bypass block, ragdolls

• V: Ground Breaker – 85/87.5 Total damage, guard break, ragdolls dash, attacks
• B: Piecing Blood (Mastery 3) – 80 damage guardbreak, parry, cancellable, start-up

For the Manji Kick, if your target walks into your Simple Domain, it’ll activate instantly without having a counter phase. Also, all black flash activates if you hit a QTE for Skull Crusher, Rapid Blows, and Divergent Fist.

Explaining Tiger Instinct

The Tiger Instinct move has 3 stages: Normal, During Ragdolls and While being stunned.

• Normal – Counter; 10 HT, 5 damage, combo starter
• During ragdolls – Ragdoll cancel; 20 HT. When pressed, you recover from the ragdoll instantly.
• While being stunned – Combo breaker; 30 HT, 25 damage, ragdolls, gain iFrames on activation.

  • 195 Damage
  • You can also add 1/2 M1s between E + X if the enemy is near.
• 97 HT Combo: X (Black Flash) + E (Black Flash) + X + V + G + 4
  • 240 Damage
  • You can also add 1/2 M1s between X + E and E + X if the enemy is just close.
• Combo Breaker Follow-up Combo (72 HT): Combo Breaker Q + V + G + 4
  • 150-155 Damage
• Other Combos:
  • 94 HT Combo: R (Black Flash) + E (Black Flash) + X + V + 4
    • 250 Damage

As for your stats, I recommend that you put 25 in Attack, 50 in Defense, 50 in Health, and 75 in Special if you’re going for an All-rounder build. Or if you prefer a more Glass-cannon build, put 25 in Attack, 25 in Defense, and 150 in Special.

For tips, I have two things for you: Spam hyper armor and don’t use Simple Domain. Meanwhile, for your traits, use the following:

• PVP: Unbound Adaptation, Festering Gluttonous, Gluttonous, Spiritual, Godly, Egotistic Godly, Bypassing, Deferred, or Ancient Vampiric.
• PVE: RCT, Godly or Egotistic Godly.
