One of the most fun you can have in end-game on any video game is challenging yourself with the most difficult levels. Some players don’t have the resources to beat them with the best stuff though, so you’ll want to get some cheaper options.
In Alternative Universes Tower Defense, you can have a lot of different towers to beat the hardest levels. Some of these towers can be tough to get or expensive. If you want to beat Sans in the cheapest way possible then you’re in the right place!
In this guide, we’ll show you the cheapest way to beat Sans in AUTD. We’ll go through which towers you can get as well as the different tactics you’ll use throughout the waves. Now, let’s see what we’ll need to do!
Cheapest Way To Beat Sans Guide
Beating Sans in Alternative Universe Tower Defense can be difficult with the best of towers. Some might say that doing it with the cheapest towers is impossible, but it’s fully possible with the right ones! Here are the towers you’ll need for this guide:
- UF!Sans
- Paci!Sans
- US!Sans
Now that you have the towers, we’ll go through all of the different waves, and we’ll explain what tactics you should use.
Wave 1 – 5
The first five waves is quite easy since the path bends in a “U” shape which is great for high-range units. That’s why you’ll want to place your Paci!Sans on the bend. Remember to level them up to at least 2 before wave 5 hits.
At Wave 5, place a US!Sans as shown above to get some added damage for the final wave. If the mini-boss goes beyond that tower, just sell the tower and place another one further down the path.
Wave 6 – 10
For the next set of waves, it’s similar to the previous one. Place one Paci!Sans on each bend on the path from the start. Then, place the US!Sans and a UF!Sans as shown below. Make sure to level all of them to at least 2 and level the last Paci!Sans on the path to 3 to deal with stragglers if needed.
Just keep on leveling all of your towers to as high as you can starting from the ones nearest to the spawn.
Wave 11 – 15
For the next set of waves, you’ll want to use the same method as the last one. Place Paci!Sans at the bends and use US!Sans and UF!Sans to help with the damage. You can level up most of the Paci!Sans to maximum from the start and as the waves go through level up the other towers.
Wave 16 – 20
These next waves will be easier than the last because of the way the path goes. Just place all of your units as shown below and make sure to upgrade them to max level. You can finish all waves till 20 with this setup.
Wave 21 – 25
This next area looks difficult but because of the path, it’s great for our Paci!Sans. Place them at the center line and upgrade them to the maximum. Then, make sure to place the other towers around them to deal with tougher enemies.
Wave 26 – 30
The next few waves before the final one can be a bit tricky. At the start, you’ll want to place all of your units near the spawn as shown below. On later waves, you’ll want to move your units to deal with stragglers that might get through.
If a miniboss or a tough mob goes through, make sure to sell some towers and place some down the path. Make sure to upgrade these towers to deal with them quickly.
Sans Fight
The Final Wave is where you’ll fight Sans and for the first part of the fight, you’ll want to place your Paci!Sans near him. Don’t forget to upgrade them to full and then place the other towers behind while placing a couple of UF!Sans near the boss.
Once you damage him enough, he’ll start targeting some of your towers with lasers. Make sure that you move your towers being targeted by lasers to avoid them being destroyed. Keep moving them around, this is the most micro-heavy part of the level.
You can place some level 1 towers around the place to use as ‘bait’ for the lasers if need be.
The last part of the level is when Sans spawns a lot of bones in the area. Place your Paci!Sans on the green squares and make sure to upgrade them to max. Don’t mind them getting targeted by lasers at this point, just keep placing them.
At this point, Sans will be low in health so you can easily defeat him when you reach this part.
