Some games take pride in their online community and how they can keep people together like in MMOs. In Elemental Adventure, they take it a step further by having your progress in the game tied to the community. You can go far in this game without interacting with the people around it and as such, it has a strict ranking system for each nation.

In this guide, we’ll show you the basics of ranking in Elemental Adventure. We’ll show you how you can get into a nation’s community and what to expect to rank up. Now, let’s see how we can rank up in the game!

Ranking Guide

Playing Elemental Adventure means you’ll need to interact with the community. From getting your first rank to ranking up in exams, it’s all about talking and fighting with players. That’s what we’re going to cover here.

Joining A Nation

First off, to even join the game you’ll need to be 13 years old or higher. Once you’re old enough, you can then go to the game’s About section which you can go through the link above. There, you’ll find the links to the Community groups for the game.

You’ll want to pick the group of the nation you want to join and click on that link.

Clicking on the link will send you to the nation’s group. From there, you can join the group by pressing the button shown below. This will give you the rank of either Citizen or Wanderer in the game depending on the nation.

Afterward, you’ll want to press the blue Discord button to join that nation’s discord.

Nation Ranks

There are a lot of ranks in the game, and it depends on the nation on what rank you are. Here are the ranks for the Rock, Flame, and Liquid nations:

  • Citizen
  • Private
  • Soldier
  • Corporal Or Warrior
  • Lieutenant
  • Captain Or Royal Guard
  • General

The Wind Wanderers have their ranking system but function similarly to the other nations. Here are the ranks for the Wind Nation:

  • Wanderer
  • Pupil
  • Disciple
  • Monk
  • Instructor
  • Elder Monk

Some ranks are above General or Elder Monk and that’s the Royalty Ranks. This can include the Prince or Princess as well as the Nation Leader. Getting these ranks depends on you being chosen by the Nation’s leader and is not part of normal progression.

Ranking Up

Ranking up in this game isn’t automatic. Instead, you’ll have to participate in events or interact with higher-ranking players. Now, here are all of the ways to rank up in the game.

Private/Pupil Exam

Once you have the Wanderer or Citizen Rank, you’ll then need to be in your nation’s Discord. From there, you’ll have to wait for the admins to post a Private/Pupil Exam to rank up. This event appears often so be patient and don’t annoy the discord admins with private messages.

Now, if there’s an exam to rank up, you can then join via Discord and then later on in the game. The rank up to Private/Pupil is often just a questionnaire where you have to answer 3 of the 5 questions correctly. Once you do that, you’ll be promoted!

Soldier/Disciple Exam

This exam will involve fighting another private in a best-of-three match. Once you win the exam, you’ll be promoted to the rank of Soldier/Disciple.

With this rank, you’ll be given a uniform and a helmet. You will also be invited to a discord server for that nation’s active military. From there, you can participate in events like guarding exams or doing raids.

Corporal/Warrior/Monk Exam

This rank exam is similar to the previous one where you’ll have to fight another player with the same rank. This will be another best-of-3 match and if you win you’ll get to go to the second round.

The second round is a fight between two soldiers that won the first round and again it’s a best of 3.

If you win, then you’ll get promoted. Unlike the previous exam, this one is hosted less frequently so make sure to practice a lot and hone your skills.

Lieutenant Promotion

For the Rock and Flame nations to get the Lieutenant rank, you’ll only need to be at the previous rank for 2 weeks and be active. Once you’ve reached two weeks, you can direct message a higher-ranked player to get promoted.

For other nations, their promotion to a similar rank might be different and may involve exams.

Captain/Instructor and Royal Guard

For the rank of Captain or Instructor, you’ll need to be active in the game and be chosen by higher-ranking players. There is no event connected to it nor an exam, you’ll need to be hand-picked by Generals, Elder Monks, or even royalty.

Avatar Elemental Adventure Royal Guard Exam

For the Royal Guard, there is an exam connected to getting this rank. This is by far the most competitive exam in the game and one of the rare ones.

The first round consists of defeating another Lieutenant in a best-of-3 match. Then, two winners of the first round will fight in the second round for another best of 3.

The winners of the second round will then get to the final round. There, you’ll have to answer 10 out of 10 questions about the nation correctly. If you fail a single question, you’ll fail the exam. If you pass, you’ll get the rank of Royal or Imperial Guard.
