Avowed, just like any other RPG, has a lot of secrets and side content for you to discover and try to complete. There are various treasure maps that you can get in this game, and they often contain varying hints that will nudge you in a certain direction. In this guide, we will be going over the treasure map labeled “The Blade that Hungers” and showing you where it is hidden.
The Blade That Hungers Treasure Map Solution
To get this map, you must first buy it off of Bulti, who can be found in the Solace Keep within the Galawain’s Tusks region. This is not exactly a hidden area, so just head over there to obtain it.
In order to solve the treasure map “The Blade that Hungers”, you will need to figure out where the location in the crude drawing is. There, you will find a dagger that has been buried by its previous owner due to how it seemingly causes them to go on an unusual lust for blood.
If you pay close attention to the details in the drawing, you will realize that this is found somewhere in the Ash Forest, as you can see one of the buildings of the nearby outpost in it. With that in mind, head over there to the highlighted part of the map image below.
There, you will find a small natural archway that will lead you through a fairly linear path. Just follow the path straight forward and you will eventually hit a dead end with a chest containing your reward.
Once you open the chest, you will receive the Umbral Needle at what we assume is the same quality as the highest one that you currently have in your inventory. If you have legendary weapons, then it will be of that same tier.
The weapon itself is pretty okay, as it also restores some of your health whenever you deal damage. As the note in the treasure map implied, the blade makes you thirst for blood, and its passive effects reflect that.
