If you haven’t been up to date with Destiny lore since, well, The Taken King expansion from Destiny, then you might be surprised to see Mara Sov alive and well.

That’s right, the Queen of the Awoken is now back after being gone for almost a decade, and it’s all thanks to your Guardian. With Mara Sov back, the Awoken now takes an active part in helping with the fight against The Witness, who is the big bad in Lightfall.

In this guide, we will show you how to complete the Awaken Queensguard quest for Lightfall.

Destiny 2 – Awaken Queensguard Quest Guide For Lightfall

Step 1

The quest itself has only 5 Steps, but only one of them has any real combat.

For the first step, you will need to go to the Holoprojector on Nimbus in Neomuna to hear the briefing.

You will need to go to Strider’s Gate, where the Holoprojector can be found. Listen to the briefing and you will get the next objective.

Step 2

The next objective is to meet with Mara Sov on the Farm in EDZ. There, you will find Mara Sov in the middle of the farm, doing some sort of ritual.

Step 3

After speaking to Mara Sov and the others, walk up to this Holoprojector and you will get your next step.

Step 4

This is where you will be doing a lot of shooting. The Defiant Battleground EDZ is the 4th step in Awaken, Queensguard.

Go to EDZ and move the cursor all the way down until you see the Defiant Battleground activity. Complete it, and the last step will be next.

Step 5

Your last step is to go to the H.E.L.M. and speak to Mara Sov through the debriefing. You will get a wall of text that talks about what’s going on and at the end of it is your reward, the Caretaker sword.

Getting the sword and exiting this screen will result in the quest finally being completed.

He's also a huge fan of superhero media like Marvel and DC, so he's practically played games like Spider-Man and the Batman Arkham games. He's also into multiplayer games that strike his fancy, specifically games like Call of Duty and Fortnite. Most especially Fortnite since he can play as different Marvel and DC characters in a battle royale against other famous and iconic characters.
