Sometimes we just not that there’s a secret door somewhere. It might be obvious with some games showing an outline or it might just be our instincts. We can sense loot through walls after all, it’s a skill we hone through many games. In Baldur’s Gate 3, there’s a secret door in the House of Healing’s Morgue, but how do you open it?
In this guide, we’ll show you how to open the hidden door in that area. We’ll also show you what’s inside since there’s actually a neat little magical item there! Now, let’s open that door and claim our loot!
House of Healing Morgue Secret Door
When going around the many places in the game, you might find yourself in the House of Healing Morgue. This place is a bit tricky to get to with all the hazards, but once you get here there are more secrets you can find, including a secret door.
To the south side of the room, next to the small staircase is a hidden wall. It’s actually pretty obvious with how there’s an outline around it but we don’t say that out loud. It might hurt the secret door’s feelings. Next to it is a button that you can interact or shoot a weapon or a spell at if you’re extra like me.
Pressing that button will open the secret door and give you a new room to explore. Inside is a corpse and some containers as well as a chest. The chest is where you can find the Strange Tendril Amulet, a magical amulet that lets you cast Evard’s Black Tentacles. That’s a Level 4 Conjuration spell that deals AOE damage and restrains targets as well.
That’s how you open the secret door in the House of Healing Morgue in Baldur’s Gate 3. Now go out there and get that loot inside the secret room! Make sure to go check out our guide on how to find the lock to fit the flower key if you haven’t already.
