Daggers are a nice weapon to have in Baldur’s Gate 3. They’re light, sharp, and easy to hide whenever you’re going through a checkpoint of some sort. Legendary daggers like the Bloodthirst though, are on a whole new different level.
Getting critical hits will be made easier as you’ll only need to roll smaller numbers when trying to connect with your opponent violently. Think about how much damage alone you can do the next time you try to sneak up on someone. Find out more about where you can get this weapon by reading the rest of the guide below!
How to Get Bloodthirst Legendary
Bloodfirst can be found in the Bhaal Temple while you’re doing the “Get Orion’s Netherstone” quest. To get to the Temple of Bhaal, you’ll need to go through the Undercity Ruins first. The item itself, however, is with Orin herself. You’re going to have to take the item from her cold dead hands by force as she clearly has issues.
There’s plenty of ways to get to the Temple of Bhaal. One of them will be made available to you while following the “Find Orin’s victim in the Temple of Bhaal” quest. This will take you to the Lower City area of Baldur’s Gate. Find the manhole behind The Glitter Gala to get inside of the Lower City Sewers. From here, you can follow the path that we took going north through the Undercity Ruins.
Expect a lot of fighting as you go further down the sewers. It doesn’t stop there as well, once you get to the Undercity it goes even deeper. This is the kind of place that makes you wish that you were traversing the Mines of Moria instead.
When you get to X:50, Y:1016 of Bhaal Temple proper, a cutscene between you and Orin will play. Defeat her along with the rest of her goons to get Orin’s Netherstone, and most importantly, the Legendary Dagger Bloodthirst.
And that’s how you get Bloodthirst in Baldur’s Gate 3. The perfect weapon for any altercations that take place within the Lower City. If you’re still in Act 2 then maybe getting Shar’s Spear of Evening will be of interest to you? That is of course, if you only want Shadowheart to have a more… Vindictive approach towards things. Props to you for wanting two Lae’zels in your party.
