When you think of a Legendary item, you think of something you’ll have to work hard for. Maybe it’s loot from a tough boss, or it’s a low percentage drop. Maybe it’s a weapon that can only be found later in the game, in a tough dungeon. In Baldur’s Gate 3, these are all safe assumptions on how to get certain legendary items. There are some though that are much simpler to get.

In this guide, we’ll show you how to get the Devotee’s Mace Legendary item in the game. There’s no grand quest, or monster to kill, it’s actually really simple!

How to Get Devotee’s Mace Legendary

When you level up in Baldur’s Gate 3, there are certain things you’ll get. Fighters get more attacks; wizards get more spells and so on. Some of these additions can feel small, but later on they can get quite grand. One of the things a high-level cleric can get is Divine Intervention, which in lore is cleric literally praying to their god to give them a blessing personally.

To get Divine Intervention, you’ll need to reach 10 levels in Cleric. Shadowheart for example can easily get that as long as she doesn’t multiclass. Once you get the Divine Intervention feature, use it. There are multiple things you can ask your god to do, one is “Arm Thy Servant.” Choosing this will spawn the Devotee’s Mace Legendary weapon!

Yep, it’s that simple. Just get to level 10 with a cleric and ask for the weapon from the god. It’s literally praying the legendary item into existence!

The weapon itself is a +3 Mace that has the Healing Incense Aura. It deals 1d6 Bludgeoning Damage as well as 1d8 Radiant, one of the least resisted damage types in the game. It’s a great addition to any cleric’s arsenal, plus it’s one handed so you can use a shield with it!

That’s how you get the Devotee’s Mace Legendary weapon in Baldur’s Gate 3. Now, go out there and try to get it yourself! Make sure to check out our guide on how to get the Duellist’s Prerogative Legendary Rapier if you haven’t already!
