Getting companions early in Baldur’s Gate 3 is as easy as playing the game and seeing the consequences of your poor dialogue choices. It’s the ones you meet later on that will require a bit more than just a simple dexterity check.

Jaheira will be one of those recruitable companions where you have to progress all the way to Act 2 just for her to join in. Find out what you need to do if you want her aid by reading through the guide. For now just make sure that she’s still alive, you have a boss you need to go through!

How to Get Jaheira as a Companion

Jaheria is available to talk to as an NPC over at the Last Light Inn during the early parts of Act 2. One of the steps needed to have her join you is to defeat Ketheric Thorm at Moonrise Towers. Make sure to talk to her before you tail Thorm into the Mind Flayer Colony and Find Zevlor. This will give you full control of Jaheira, you can also recruit her later to minimize her chances of dying.

After you leave the Mind Flayer Colony, head back to the Main Floor of the Moonrise Towers. Talking to her there will have you engage in a lengthy conversation. As long as you don’t behave irrationally towards her, she’ll join your camp along with the rest of your party shortly afterwards.

Since Jaheira is a Druid, she’s literally the same as Halsin. You can make changes to her using Withers if needed before levelling her up again.

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
