Sometimes the most mundane task can be more than enough to drive you insane, as if being stranded thousands of meters underwater isn’t doing enough of a good job, you now have to worry about operating a pair of handcuffs as well. Thinking about using these bad boys in the first place already implies that something has gone terribly wrong in the Dugong, but it may get confusing to use such a contraption in-game compared to real life, especially when you’re under a lot of pressure. Head on down to the crew quarters to find out more!

How To Handcuff Someone – Barotrauma

Playing as a Security Officer is one of the jobs or roles that you can take on as you dive down into the abyss.

You’ve given a set of skills and items that should – most of the time at least – be exclusive to you and you alone. One of these items would of course include the Handcuffs, used for restraining problematic players, as how the game explicitly informs you of its use.

So if you ever encounter a Clown or a player who’s behaving like a Husk this is where your handcuffs come in handy.

All you have to do is mildly reprimand them (physically) with your stun baton, while the player is feeling the consequences of their actions in full and rendered immobile, press ‘G’ on their body and transfer the handcuffs into their inventory.

A prompt will appear on the handcuffs before you do this so be quick about that once the opportunity presents itself.

Also, you also run the risk of cuffing yourself if you ever make the mistake of placing the item in your own inventory.

Now you can play tag with your friends while taking in water, be sure to place a live C-4 block near anyone you cuffed whenever you end up in a roleplaying server!

Here we have Alexis, he's been gaming ever since the second Famicom came out. Which is probably the reason why he goes back to platformers every now and then. Somewhere down the line he started getting more and more fascinated about looking at maps change colors for three to eight hours straight. If he's not out strategizing and beating the life out of his space bar in that order there's a good chance you can find him playing an FPS or talking someone's ear out about how game balance gets in the way of realism. You can tell that he really likes getting the full experience of whatever he gets his hands on.
