In Battlebit Remastered, you will gain access to a total of 6 classes: Squad Leader, Assault, Medic, Engineer, Support, and Recon. Each of these classes, in theory, all have limits since they are created to do different tasks and pursue different goals in a squad.

The Recon Class is your squad’s long-range unit, which has the ability to shoot enemies from a far distance. This class is unique since they have access to Sniper Rifles, and they deal more damage the further the range. However, they can only carry three bandages at the same time. In this guide, we will show you how you can play the Recon Class.

Recon Class Guide

The Recon class in your squad serves as the lookout, paying attention to any enemies in sight and also gathering information for your team. They have the ability to eliminate enemies from long distances using Sniper Rifles, which helps ensure the safety of teammates. However, they do face a penalty of carrying only three bandages.

It’s important to note that Snipers inflict higher damage at extreme ranges, sometimes even instantly killing with a body shot, but only if the distance is long enough. At medium ranges, headshots are more necessary and at close range, pistols are their only options to survive.

Battlebit Remastered: Recon Class Guide

Recon has access to advanced gadgets such as the Air Drone, which aids by locating enemy positions. They can also unlock the MDX-201, a device that creates the glint effect typically caused by sniper rifle scopes to trick other opponents. With the Grappling Hook, they can easily position themselves on high platforms.

Primary Weapons

The Recon Class has access to both designated marksman rifles and sniper rifles. Generally, the sniper rifles feel much more satisfying to use since they do a high amount of damage. For the designated marksman rifles, they are weapons that deal less damage. This means that you will need to always go for headshots, or a three-tap body shot.

Since they are Recon Class weapons, they do not shoot very fast so it’s going to be pretty tough for any new players who aren’t familiar with these types of weapons. If you are new to the Recon Class, use the sniper rifles since they are easier.

When it comes to sniper rifles, the M200 is the best gun.  But since it is unlocked when you reach level 100, you will need to spend some time leveling before you are able to obtain the weapon. Until then, you can also use the L96, which is also a decent weapon that you can use. If you decide to use a designated marksman rifle, then you can go for the M110.

Secondary Weapons

At closer ranges, a head shot is necessary, so a powerful pistol is more important for Recon than other classes. For Pistols, you are going to want the Glock 18, which is considered to be the best secondary pistol in the game. Until you reach the levels to obtain this weapon, you can also use the Unica.

Keep it in mind that you are a long-range class, so prioritize using your Rifles instead. These pistols are only your last resort in situations where you need to fight at a shorter range.

Primary Gadget

Anti Personnel Mines/C4: This is a decent gadget for you to choose from. You can use the C4 to get to good hiding holes for killing other players. This item is also good for breaking walls so you have an angle to shoot your opponents

Claymore: If you are a sniper who doesn’t want to run around a lot and instead you want to be campy, you can also use the Claymore to build an obstacle at the entrance point so you do not get flanked from behind.

Secondary Gadget

Air Drone: You can do a trick with this gadget where you put the Anti-personnel mines or C4 on it and fly into your enemies. With a little bit of practice and experimenting, you will be able to nail this trick. Many people have tried this and have already had some success with it, so give it a try!

Grappling Hook: This item is useful for getting on roofs or other high places like towers. Keep it in mind that other snipers in the enemy team are going to always check the tops of roofs so be careful about where you position yourself. The best place for you to snipe can be the floor that is under the roof, but it depends on your situation.

MDX 201: This item is great since it’ll give away enemy snipers because they’ll look at it with their scopes and basically it just looks like a scope. This gives you a chance to pick off the enemy snipers before they get to even react.

Pickaxe: This is really good for making little holes and walls that you can shoot through. This makes you more unpredictable since people won’t know where they’re getting shot from. You can definitely use the pickaxe to great effect as long as you know how to utilize the map you are in. This item is not recommended for maps with wide open areas.

Tips

Do not snipe from obvious spots such as rooftops or towers since it is really easy for enemies to find you and locate your position. After you have obtained a few kills, it is generally a right thing for you to do to change your location. Enemies are going to hunt you down, especially opponents that you just eliminated, so always remember to relocate.

You can always use the MDX Gadget to confuse the other squad’s members by getting them shooting at that. Instead, you can also hide behind the MDX, and they’ll shoot at it instead of you. This is a decent tool for you to know if you’re under fire.

Tips Battlebit Remastered

If there’s no cover near you you can put down sandbags, which can be done by most other classes as well. Especially for snipers, the fourth sandbag has holes in it that you can shoot through. This makes it really hard for others to shoot you and you can snipe quite easily through these sandbags.

You can always position near your teammates for extra protection as well! Again, it depends on the situation where you can apply these tips. Now that you know how the Recon Class works, try out the various options and see what works best for you as a long-range sniper!

That’s what it takes to be an expert recon! If you have questions, make sure to leave them in the comments down below! If you want to check more BattleBit Remastered guides and articles, feel free to check them out!
