Puffshrooms are spawned by harvesting planters that emit brown smoke. Also, you can wait 15 or 45 minutes in a server and wait for one Puffshroom to spawn in a random field. Upon harvesting the mushroom, your Puffshroom meter will fill up. Players only have a certain time limit to harvest it.

How to Spawn a Puffshroom

There is always a guaranteed Puffshroom spawn every 15 minutes or 45 minutes in a server. Once a Puffshroom is harvested, it will spread spores that will spawn more Puffshrooms on a different field. If you spot a planter that emits brown smoke. It’s an indication that Puffshroom will spawn when you harvest that planter.

If you don’t want to wait for a Puffshroom to spawn, you can buy and use the following planters and their chances of spawning:

  1. Ticket Planter – 100% chance to spawn
  2. The Planter Of Plenty – 25% chance to spawn
  3. Petal Planter – 20% chance to spawn
  4. Hydroponic Planter – 16.67% chance to spawn
  5. Heat-Treated Planter – 16.67% chance to spawn
  6. Pesticide Planter – 15.38% chance to spawn
  7. Tacky Planter – 14.28% chance to spawn
  8. Red Clay Planter – 12.5% chance to spawn
  9. Blue Clay Planter – 12.5% chance to spawn

The Puffshroom has 5 variants or rarity, each having its own color in order to distinguish its rarity. The higher the rarity, the higher the loot drop. But, it will be harder to spawn than normal Puffshrooms.

  1. Get help from friends or other players to harvest the Puffshroom before the timer runs out and despawns.
  2. Activate as many buffs as you can to increase your harvesting speed.
  3. I recommend using Red, blue, and mountaintop field boosters.
