Beginner and Gold Farming Tips – Rogue Legacy 2
When you first start Rogue Legacy 2, we recommend farming the enemies in the first area. They are pretty simple to defeat compared to other enemies. You should also try and smash or destroy every piece of furniture that you see in the area.
Go slow when it comes to entering rooms. You can leave the room to reset it or just decide how you want to tackle the obstacles. Keep in mind that if you defeat the enemies in the room they will not respawn. However, if you only injured them, they will get back their health.
Chests can give you a lot of gold but be careful as you may encounter some traps. The Chef is one of the best beginner classes in the game due to its healing. If you want to farm gold, we recommend taking a Hero with bonus gold gain and maxing out Repurposed Mining Shaft.
Take the Bounty Rune as well. Do not be afraid to die! You can still earn gold even if you do short bursts of runs as long as you have the right setup.
