Preparation is key when it comes to strategy mobile games like Black Clover M. But it is also essential to know how to get the best gear early on so that you can breeze through the game.
Farming gear is just as important as selecting the right team members, and that means that you have to know how to progress through your gear the right way.
Luckily for you, we have a guide that will allow you to progress through your gear fast enough while also teaching you how and where to farm the best gear around.
Fastest Gear Progression Guide – What To Farm
Rush Through The Campaign
The first thing you need to do is to rush through the entire campaign portion of the game because you don’t have to extra-strong to do so.
You can use mercenaries to rush through the campaign, and finishing the campaign quickly will allow you to focus on increasing the bond level and levels of your first four main characters.
There is an extra UR gear that you will get by playing through the campaign, and this would allow you to go straight ahead to farming stage 15 of the dungeons using strong main characters and an extra UR gear.
Early Farming – Making Your Way To LR Gear
The next step that you would want to do to improve your gear and progress through them is to do daily dungeon challenges at stage 12 four times. The reason is that there is a higher drop rate of UR gear in stage 12.
Some would wonder why not go directly to five stage 15 dungeon daily challenges. Well, the reason why you would want to do four stage 12 daily dungeon challenges at the start is that there is a higher chance for you to get high UR gear.
Meanwhile, whenever you are down to 1/5 of our daily dungeon quests, you get a 100% drop rate.
This is where you pour all of your remaining stamina in stage 15, so that you could get a guaranteed LR gear.
Take note that you still have to do all of your dailies first and then use some of your stamina for your dailies instead of focusing all of your stamina in stage 15.
The dailies are your priority. Meanwhile, any remaining stamina should be poured into stage 15 during the early stages of your farming.
After that, while you are farming, you can go to Vanessa to craft gear. This will allow you to fill out your gear with either UR or LR gear, depending on your needs.
It might be best for you to focus on going for Attack gears early on, especially for your attackers, such as Yami.
Some of you might think about going for Defense gears for your tanks but take note that most of your characters will be focused on attacking instead of tanking, while only one of your characters acts as a tank.
Don’t worry because you’re going to be getting Defense gear drops even if you try to focus on trying to get Attack gears.
Second Phase – All LR gear
The second phase of farming for gear is just basically the same as the first phase. However, this is where almost all of your gear or even all of your gear are already LR after repeating the process in the early farming stages over and over again.
This would take time because you only get to go to the dungeon five times per day on a complete free-2-play account, and that’s okay.
Take note that phase two doesn’t require all of your characters to have full-LR gear. Some of them may even have UR gear at this point.
As long as you know that your characters are surviving and doing their job, it doesn’t matter if you don’t have full LR gear on all of them.
You still have to do four stage 12 dungeon challenges before going for stage 15 on your final dungeon challenge. But the difference here is that you no longer craft gear.
Instead, your focus here is to focus on crafting accessories instead of crafting gear. The goal here is to get at least two accessories for each of your main character.
You don’t have to go all-out on giving all of them three accessories because that would be too hard to do, especially because you aren’t guaranteed to have accessories that will fit the type of characters you have.
Instead, simply focus on going for at least two accessories for each character, so that you will make farming easier.
Final Phase – Two Accessories Per Character
After getting two accessories per character and having almost all of your characters equipped with LR gear, it’s now time for the final phase, which is where you will have to farm for Upgrade Stones in the City District instead of the dungeons.
The problem here is that Yul (money) will be scarce because crafting Upgrade Stones will be very expensive.
This is where you may want to go to the shop to buy out all of the daily purchases of Upgrade Stones and Yul per day.
The Yul is the most important part here because of how expensive Upgrade Stones are. Upgrading your gear can also be quite expensive.
When farming City District, do run the level all the way up to 15 instead of farming stage 12 four times first.
The enhancement stones you can get in the City District will be useful in improving your gear but the cream of the crop here are the Upgrade Stones that you can get because you’ll be able to improve your gear up to +12.
The main goal of improving your gear to +12 is that it makes things easier, especially in farming. Having stronger gear will allow you to repeat the first phase and get more LR gear that you can use for other characters or for other builds in the future, depending on what you want to do.
This is why it is important for you to progress through your gear faster, so that you’re going to be able to do the easier stuff more efficiently – which also applies to once you start doing raids!
