Black Clover M continues to provide content to players that they can grind for and receive rewards in return. This includes a new Special Episode with an Event tied to it as well.
You have the potential to get some truly great rewards, provided you are able to get at the top of rankings with a good score. Besides that, there are other avenues for rewards too.
Easier said than done as there are players continuously competing for the top spots. Additionally, the other requirements can be a bit difficult to grind out. Not to worry, we have you sorted out.
In this guide, we will look at how you can make the most out of the new Event Episode. Let’s get into it!
New Event Episode Guide
The Special Episode – part of Season 2 is valid for 14 days while the new Special Episode Burning Time Event is available for 7 days.
Both of them provide great potential for some cool new rewards!
Special Episode Overview
The Special Episode consists of 6 parts with you trying to do the first 3 parts on the first day and the last 3 parts on the second day.
Additionally, you get 3 attempts per day where your goal is to maximize your score when you attempt a part.
You will begin a series of objectives that you can achieve which will provide you with a score. Moreover, you want to avoid certain objectives, otherwise the game will penalize your final score.
Your goal is to get the highest score possible.
You can check out the objectives by selecting the info option in the top right corner of your screen when you are in a battle.
There are three ways in which you can be rewarded with your score.
Method #1
The first one is through Top Ranking Rewards, where only the top 100 players in the Server will receive rewards.
We recommend that you do not focus on these as it will be incredibly hard to get in these rankings. Even if you do manage to get here, the effort is not worth the rewards.
Method #2
The second way is by getting into the Total Ranking Rewards leaderboard. Here, the top 10%, top 20%, top 50% and so on are given rewards.
You have a much better chance of getting into here and the rewards will justify the effort.
Method #3
Finally, we have the Total Score Reward where you will simply have to fulfill a score requirement without having to worry about competing.
The rewards are actually really useful as you can get SSR Shared Mage Pieces, which are quite scarce.
You can use these Mage Pieces to upgrade your SSR characters and progress through the game.

Special Episode Event Overview
There is an Event tied to the Special Episode where you can get some interesting rewards as well. Simply click on the Go Now option and the game will redirect you to the challenges.
Just like the Episode Rewards, you can get SSR Shared Mage Pieces, which are extremely valuable for progressing your SSR mages.
Special Episode Rewards Strategy
Now, we will dive into the strategy that will help you get the most score out of your attempts, which in turn will lead to better rewards.
Firstly, you will want to get the best Team for this challenge. For this purpose, we recommend that you check out the teams that the top players use for this challenge.
It will give you an idea of what kind of Mages and Roles you should be prioritizing, and what kind of strategy they may be using.
Additionally, you should also look at the objectives when you select a Part and start the challenge. A lot of the challenges for this Special Episode will rely on your Debuffers, Buffers and Healers.
For example, for the Part 3 challenge, if you look at the objectives you will see the following scores.
As you can see, you can accumulate score just by using the buff and debuff skills once. So, your goal should be to get as many of these skills in as you can with your Debuffers and Buffers.
At the same time, your Healers can keep you alive so that you can get as many points as possible.
We also suggest that you try to get the other objectives if you can, as they will give you a large number of points for clearing the stage in a particular way.
Keep in mind that the game will penalize you for every enemy and Boss turn. So, you want a good balance of completing the Clear and Buff/Debuff objectives.
So, try to include a R character for the extra bonus while ensuring that you do not take too many turns trying to get the Buff and Debuff skill score.
Otherwise, you might get a very high penalty score as shown below, even if it is a decent score.
That’s all you need to know about the New Event Episode in Black Clover M. As we have seen, there is so much potential for amazing rewards that you can get if you take full advantage of it.
If you don’t care about Ranking bragging rights, then you can probably forego the top 100 rankings.
But we highly suggest that you do take advantage of the rest of the challenges for maximum rewards. This especially applies to the SSR Shared Mage Pieces!
