Blades of Chance, as its name implies, is all about luck! Thankfully, then, you can increase your luck to draw rarer swords by drinking a certain Potion called the Obby Elixir.
This easy-to-get potion will give you a temporary boost to your luck, so it’s a good idea to hoard and drink as many of these potions as you can!
In this short guide, we’ll tell you how to get and use the Obby Elixir to boost your luck.
How To Get Easy Luck Potion & Elixir | Obby Elixir
As of this writing, there’s only one easy Luck Potion in Blades of Chance: complete an obstacle course to get the Obby Elixir.
You can start the obstacle course, or obby, by peering off the dock near the starting area. You’ll notice a series of floating platforms leading to a small floating island.
Simply put, jump across the platforms to reach the island and you’ll get to claim one Obby Elixir. It will give you +15% Luck for 60 seconds!
The obby itself is also pretty short and simple, consisting of just four floating platforms before you reach the floating island itself.
You can complete it in about 10 seconds, especially once you’ve got some practice with it!
Also, remember that you have a very good double jump in Blades of Chance. It gives you a lot of height and speed, so it makes it easy to reach the platforms even if they seem too far and high up.
When you reach the island, you’ll find a floating green potion on a pedestal. That’s your Obby Elixir! Jump on the pedestal to pick up the potion and you’ll be teleported back to the starting area.
Now, you can repeat the obby as many times as you want, but the Obby Elixir takes a couple of minutes to respawn.
To work around that, you can press Escape to open the menu and choose to leave Blades of Chance. Rejoin the game and you’ll be able to cop a new Obby Elixir without having to wait!
How to Use the Obby Elixir
To use the Obby Elixir, click on “Items” on the left side of the screen.
Then select one of the Obby Elixirs you have and click on Use. You can drink up multiple of these luck Obby Elixir potions, but their luck increase doesn’t stack. It’ll always be just +15% Luck!
However, the effect time does stack. For example, drinking two Obby Elixirs at the same time will give you +15% Luck for 120 seconds instead of just 60 seconds.
Considering how easy they are to get, you now have no reason to keep opening chests without having the Luck buff active.
