Blasphemous 2, and the original Blasphemous, are fantastic examples of having worlds that tells stories. Games like Dark Souls and Elden Ring from FromSoft are the biggest examples of telling a story by using the world, and Blasphemous 2 takes that concept and uses it to improve their worldbuilding.
There is a hidden quest that you can get that has something to do with a stolen pendant. If you are interested in doing it, or if you already have the pendant in your possession, this guide will show you what you need to do when you have the pendant with you.
What To Do With The Stolen Pendant Of Solitude?
Before we start, you need to get the pendant. For players who have the pendant already, you can skip this part. For those that don’t, go to the merchant in the Streets of Wake region, which is located here on the map.
When you reach the area, talk to the merchant and purchase all of the items he has in his shop. Once you have purchased all of the items, then he will tell you that you have purchased all of the items he has in his shop.
If he doesn’t, then that means you haven’t yet. Advance the story some more and come back to him and check if he has more to sell.
When he tells you that you have purchased all of his goods, talk to him again and he will ask you to return the Stolen Pendant of Solitude.
Once you have the pendant, go back to the City of the Blessed Name and go to the small room that’s located at the top of the city.
You will need to climb up the roof of some buildings until you see an open doorway. Go inside it.
Go inside the room and you will find a bed with nothing in it. Approach it and place the Stolen Pendant of Solitude. Once you do, return to the merchant and speak to him to end the quest.
If you’re expecting some kind of reward, unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be any for this quest line. No achievement, no loot, no nothing. It’s just “nice” to do.
