Blox Fruits is a fun action-adventure RPG that is a must-play for all One Piece fans. The game features iconic Devil Fruits as well as locations and enemies from the legendary anime and manga series.
The latest Halloween update has led to an increase in new players. This guide is aimed at such players to help them get started with all the new additions.
Halloween Update Beginners Guide
For simplicity, we have divided this guide into multiple sessions so that it can be accessed with ease.
Cursed Chests
The first thing that was added in this update is the Cursed Chest, as shown in the image below. This sinister-looking chest can drop random items, which include Bones, Fragments, and the elusive Ghost Fruit.

However, be alert since Bone Wraith enemies will spawn when these chests are opened. These enemies will also drop random rewards, so defeat them. The bones that you get from these chests can be traded at the Death King NPC.

Death King NPC
There are three spawn locations for this NPC. The first one is shown in the image below in the Sea 1 zone right next to the fountain.
Next is the Sea 2 zone location, which is highlighted in the image below.
Last but not least, the final spawn location of this NPC is shown in the image below for the Sea 3 zone.
Now that we have seen the locations for this NPC, let’s see what he has to offer. Interacting with his menu opens the following options.
The most relevant one is the Random Surprise one since this allows you to exchange fifty bones for random rewards such as money and fragments.
Haunted Shipwreck Event
The next new addition in the update comes in the form of an event. The Haunted Shipwreck Event is similar to the Small Treasure Islands, except there are a lot of chests on the ship.
For this event to trigger, you will need to travel all the way to Danger Level 6. That means you must keep on travelling in the Sea until you get it.
We recommend traveling for this event during the daytime since it gets very dark at night, and you won’t be able to see properly. At the ship, you should be able to find a ridiculous amount of chests, as shown in the image below.
From what we have noticed, Cursed Chests do not seem to spawn on these ships. However, still collect all the chests since they have some pretty decent loot in the form of money and fragments.
