T-Rex Winter Update Guide
Let’s start things off with some exciting add-ons from the update. Aside from the new T-Rex fruit, the new Candy Island which can be seen in Sea 3 – just behind Ice Cream Land.
Here, you can interact with various event NPC’s that offer rewards in exchange for candies – like limited accessory, blox fruits, 2x EXP for 15 mins, Stats/Race Reroll and more!

Free Gift Event & Shipwreck Teacher/Ship Repair
Situated in the middle of the island is an event that drop gifts containing random Blox fruits. During Christmas, players can claim free fruits every hour on the new island!
After Christmas ends, the timer will change to 3 hours until next year.
- There is a 3% chance of receiving the mythical Holiday Cloak accessory.
- The new T-Rex fruit also has a chance to be in the gift.
Additionally, the Winter Update also introduces the Shipwright subclass, which is an interesting one – as it enables you to repair your own ships.

How To Get Candies Fast
Candies are back in Blox Fruits! With these, you can buy new fragments and other cool accessories. Simply enough, you gain candies for killing NPC’s.
However, this can be very tedious and, of course, time consuming. There are many ways to speed things up and for this guide shall show you one way to farm candies quickly and while AFK!
Firstly, you will need to have your Buddha fruit fully awakened. Then, you’ll require a fighting style that allows you to remain idle in-game without moving.
Finally, you need to download a tool called Tiny Task, which some of you using PCs might already have installed on your computer.
Let’s get started. First, find a safe spot where you won’t be disturbed while AFK, like the little layer of boulders and rocks found on the left side of the Free Gift event.
Now, open your Tiny Task and replicate what is shown below. You might need to repeat this process a few times to perfect it. To playback and check if it’s to your liking, press the Control, Shift, Alt, and P keys together.
Once you’re satisfied with the presets, you can then enjoy unlimited candy farming. I recommend doing this on a private server, as other players might kill you on public servers. However, if you’re confident in your setup, the choice is yours.
Other Important Side Notes & Tips
- Just kill NPC’s near your level (They will not drop candies if they are 100 and more levels below you).
- NPC’s also don’t have a 100% chance to drop candies.
- NPC’s can give 1-3 candies while Bosses may give up to 10.
- You can server hop, so Bosses respawn faster.
- If you are MAX level, you can grind NPC’s and events hosted in the Tiki Outpost island to gain candies.
- If you are a mobile player, the same method can be done using an auto-clicker.
