A Plague Tale Requiem sees our young protagonists try and figure out how they can save Hugo, the young de Rune sibling, from his powers. As Amicia, the oldest of the two, it your job to look after him and stand by him when things get tough. Somewhere in Chapter 5, you need to get in a boat and sail away. However, the path is blocked and everyone is stuck. In this guide, we will show you how you can make way or clear a path for the boat and get everyone to safety.
A Plague Tale Requiem – Clear a Path for the Boat in Chapter 5
When starting, you have to get to the other side of the water and to the building there to lower the bridge. You have to use the wheel in order to bring the ferry towards you in order to cross. However, the ferry does not approach as something is wrong.
You then have to make your way to the bottom of the dock. Something might be jamming the chain and that’s why it won’t bring the ferry to you.
There is a path that will lead you there, but it is covered by a cart. Have Lucas bring the cart back enough so you can jump down into the path.
Jumping down the whole will lead you to a path full of dead bodies. You have to make your way to the bottom of the wheel and see if something is blocking it.
Lo and behold, something is blocking it. A dead body. You have to approach it and pull it out in order to clear up the wheel to lower the chain.
After unblocking the wheel, Lucas will bring the ferry to you. Get up on the ferry to get away from the dead bodies and the smell.
Once on the ferry, look at Lucas and tell him to stop holding the crank for the ferry to go to the other side.
Look up and you should see a glowing chain that holds the weight up. Break the chain and the weight will drop down, and so does the chain that blocks the boat.
