Conan Exiles is an MMORPG that has been around for quite some time now. Just recently, they have released the first chapter of the Age of War update. In this, we focus more on the gritty side of war and everything that happens. However, one thing that players are paying attention to are the new features called the Treasure System and the Clan Hoards. Both of these features are intertwined together in the game, but how do they work? Well, I will be telling you all of the things you need to know about the Treasure System and Clan Hoards.
All You Need to Know for Treasures & Clan Hoards
For starters, I am going to be talking about the Treasure System and how it works. This will tie directly into why Clan Hoards is important. Let’s get into it!
Treasure Coffer
When you start the game after getting the Age of War update, you will be able to build a Treasure Coffer. After you build a Treasure Coffer, you will need to place it in a room, in your base. Whichever room you choose will be the designated Treasure Room. Please note that you will need to be level 20 in order to build it.
After you have built the Treasure Coffer in a room, an NPC will spawn alongside it. This is an NPC that will essentially be your accountant, taking note of all of the treasures in the room and inside the coffer and giving you a rundown of all of your riches.
Treasure Room
Now that you know what the Treasure Coffer is and where your Treasure Room is, what kind of treasures can you put in the Treasure Room? Well, you can place items that you get from NPC’s and bosses into the Treasure Room and drop it there. If you have smaller treasures, then you can simply place them in the coffer.
The update also changed some of the items in the game to be classified as treasure, so make sure to examine your inventory and items to see if those items can be placed in the Treasure Room.
Clan Hoards
With the Treasure Room and Treasure Coffer explained, we are going to talk about Clan Hoards. Basically, Clan Hoards is how you and your clan can get more treasure to add to your room. All over the world are treasures waiting to be found. If you find them, you’re in luck. But you’re also in for a hard time. These treasures are often guarded by enemy NPC’s. It’s best to have your clanmates with you as you do this, thus the name “Clan Hoards”.
You can even steal treasures from other players Treasure Rooms and Treasure Coffers to add to yours! Whether it’s by sheer strength in a raid or silently sneaking in and out like a ninja, the possibilities are endless on how you can get more treasure for your room.
Now you may be asking what the purpose of this Treasure Room is and what can it do for you and your clan. With a Treasure Room and coffer, you can buy upgrades for yourself, your clan, or for your base. Not only that, but you also get high level Purges for chapter 2 of Age of War. These Purges are great for getting great fighters and Crafter Thralls, so the bigger your Treasure Room, the bigger your Purge level.
