It’s all about getting viral in Content Warning, as you head to the Old World that is brimming with monsters and dangers. If you’re a bit familiar with the game, you’ll know that you’ll often head to familiar look worlds. Yet, it’s difficult to get an idea of the map since you’re worrying about dying.
Additionally, the game also does not really provide you with a map. Not to worry, we have you covered. In this Content Warning map, we will be giving you an outline of all the maps currently in the game. Let’s get into it!
Complete Maps Guide
There are currently only 2 maps in Content Warning. With time, we will likely be getting more. However, we’ll discuss the key features of these 2 maps so you can understand how to navigate them.
You should also watch out for Artifacts outlined in our Complete Artifacts guide for Content Warning!
Map Overview
Starting off, we’ll be providing you with a general overview of the maps. Each Map has a unique layout, scenery and spawn point.
While the layout of each specific map will remain the same, there are certain additions that will change how the map works.
When a map is reset, a new variant of the map will have blocked off rooms, added lasers, environmental hazards or even map sections that are not accessible. There are a total of 6 variants that you can find of each map.
Additionally, the maps will change and reset after every 3 days which is also the time limit for every quota. Spawn points will also change when this happens.
Factory Map
Starting off, we’ll be looking at the Factory map in Content Warning. This is the large industrial map that you’ll come across if you’re just starting with the game.
This map actually consists of 2 factory sections, with multiple entrances. You can find 2 main entrances and 2 alternate entrances.
Additionally, there is also an entire underground section.
Some of the key features of the Factory Map to look out for are:
- The first alternate entrance is a stairwell located in an open area. You can find this directly across from the main entrance of the Factory.
- The second alternate entrance is a large gaping hole in the ceiling. You can find this entrance diagonally from the main entrance.
- One of the spawn points for the diving bell can be this alternate entrance on the roof.
Lastly, we recommend checking out the map below which outlines the Factory’s extensive Underground Area. It’ll give you an idea of what kind of layout you should expect and how it can change when the map is reset.
You can easily get lost in this area, so it’s always good to have this map on hand!
If you do end up dying, you don’t have to worry about your footage being lost. Check out our guide which shows you how to recover lost footage in Content Warning!
Harbour (Ship) Map
The second map that you can visit in Content Warning is the Harbour or Ship. The Ship the exact opposite of the Factory with very constricted pathways. However, it has a lot of floors giving it an overall larger area.
You can easily get stuck in the narrow areas with Monsters because of its small size!
Besides that, you’ll also see signs of destruction and damage all around the area. As for what’s the reason, we can guess it’s probably the dangerous Monsters roaming about!
With that said, here are the key features of the Harbour (Ship) map to look out for:
- The first floor is on top of the ship and is a small area with a bar and dining area.
- There is an open stairwell on the top floor that you can use to access and reach the first four floors with ease.
- The second floor consists of a waiting room and an empty deck. You’ll see a lot of chairs in this area.
- The third floor is the parking lot of the Harbour, with a lot of destruction and parked cars.
- The fourth floor is a huge apartment area that almost resembles a maze. You can also fall down holes on the floor if you’re not careful (not available in one variant).
- There is no staircase that leads below the fourth floor. You’ll need to use the holes to navigate below or use them to escape monsters.
- The fifth floor is the actual cargo hull of the ship with shipping containers, equipment and shelving units.
- The sixth floor is the maintenance area of the ship. It is very dangerous since the machinery down here acts as an environmental hazard. You should watch out for the pistons!
- To go up to the fifth floor from the sixth floor, you’ll need to locate the makeshift staircase that is at the end of the sixth floor area.
- To go up to the fourth floor from the fifth floor, you need to go to the center of the fifth floor. Here you can climb up the caved in ceiling to return to the apartments area!
Since the fourth floor of the Harbour is such a maze, it is very easy to get lost in there. So, we have a map below that outlines the entire fourth floor.
We also have a path marked out that shows you how to get to the staircase and back.
That’s everything you need to know about the Maps in Content Warning. Now, you should be able to navigate the area with ease. In particular, the Ship map can be challenging to navigate – so we recommend having the map out!
We also recommend having some items with you to make your experience much easier. We have them outlined in our Complete Items guide for Content Warning!
