Cursed Arena has just released a bunch of new content, mostly in the form of reworks and new character move sets. These new moves have changed up how the meta works, with new potential combos available. One such character that has been reworked is Gojo, who has a new Awakened move set.

In this guide, we will be covering the new Awakened Gojo moveset and covering each skill. It will help you understand how you can use the reworked character to your advantage. We also recommend that you check out the Toji moveset as well. With that said, let’s get into the guide!

New Awakened Gojo Moveset & Showcase

The Strongest Sorcerer, or Gojo, has two main movesets in the game now. One is his base form and the other is his Awakened form. Both of these movesets have either been reworked or changed up. So, we will be looking at both of them.

Gojo is a fairly simple character to get – here’s how to get all of the characters!

Base Gojo Moveset

Galeforce Palm

The first move in base Gojo’s moveset is Galeforce Palm. Gojo will swing his hand towards the enemy as his hand turns blue, releasing a force of energy. Any enemy in front of it, and within range, is blown away.

Collapse Strike

The second skill is Collapse Strike, which has actually been reworked. When you use Collapse Strike, Gojo will punch the nearest enemy. If the punch lands, the enemy is stuck in an animation where Gojo continues to punch them repeatedly. After the animation, Gojo kicks the enemy away.

Lapse Blue

With Lapse Blue, Gojo will swing his arm as it shines bright blue. A portal-like structure will appear at some range, blowing and stunning any enemy towards Gojo.

Reversal Red

A new version of Reversal Red has been added to Gojo’s moveset. If you jump and activate this move, it will deal damage at a longer range. When you activate this skill after jumping, Gojo will levitate momentarily before dealing an AoE attack to the enemy.

If you’re enjoying this showcase, you might want to check out Jogo’s moveset too!

New Awakened Gojo Moveset

When the blue meter above Gojo’s moveset is full, you can press G to activate Awakened Gojo and access his moves. Keep in mind that he will only temporarily stay in this state.

Awakened Gojo has two versions of the first skill: Crimson Flair and Max Blue. Max Blue is an upgraded version that you can obtain as a drop from The Strongest Boss. It has a 8% chance to drop and will replace Crimson Flair once you equip it.

Crimson Flair

Crimson Flair has been reworked from its previous version. When activated, Gojo will point his left hand like a gun towards the enemy. A surge of red energy will charge in his hand, before firing at the enemy, who is blown far away.

Max Blue

Max Blue is a very powerful move that creates a large blue ball that will grab any enemy within its range. You can use the cursor to actually move around the ball too. So, you can grab enemies and bring them towards you, or take them away from you.

Keep in mind that Max Blue is replaced by Crimson Flair if you use this move in Domain Expansion.

Fury’s End

With Fury’s End, Gojo will teleport the enemy into his grasp and create two balls of energy (same ones for Hollow Purple). He will deal damage to the enemy in a combo before slamming them to the ground.

The balls will drop on the fallen enemy to deal damage. The enemy is thrown away by Gojo after he interacts with the ball.

Domain Expansion

Finally, we have Gojo’s Domain Expansion. When it is activated, any enemy within range is taken into the new area, where they are completely stunned. Gojo can deal damage to them without worry until the domain expansion lasts.

That’s everything you need to know about the New Awakened Gojo Moveset. As you can see, the new rework has added some interesting changes, which includes improved effects as well. In particular, Max Blue stands out as a very powerful move. We recommend getting your hands on it, even if you’ll have to grind the boss a bit.
