In Dandy’s World, you have the freedom to choose whoever Toon you find cool, cute, interesting or just straight up good to use. There are more than 20 Toons that you can play, and they all have unique builds – different passive and active abilities, playstyle, stats and more. You know what that means, yep, there’s meta in the game as well. With this tier list, I’ll show you the best units to use if you want to reach higher floors and have a good time playing the game. Let’s get right into it!

Best Toon Tier List (Updated)

So far, there’s a total of 23 Toons that you can play in Dandy’s World. As mentioned above, they all have different abilities, perks and stats which means that some will be better than others, or some can only be good in certain situations.

I’ll be ranking them from S tier (the absolute best) to D tier (garbage tier), to help you understand which Toons you should play if you want to reach high floors. Also, if you’re still starting in the game, consider checking our complete beginner’s guide in Dandy’s World as well!

All the toons in Dandy's World ranked from best to worst in a tier list.

S Tier

  • Shelly – Shelly has earned her spot in S-tier with her insane extraction speed and team utility. Despite a slight stamina downside, Shelly’s extraction game is unmatched right now. If you need a quick, efficient extractor, she’s your go-to.
  • Tisha – Still holding strong in S-tier, Tisha’s high skill checks and stamina make her one of the best all-around Toons. Though I’ve placed her a tad below Shelly, her contributions are undeniable.

A Tier

  • Pebbles – Still holding strong at the top of A-tier, Pebbles remains one of the most reliable Toons in the game. Excellent stats across the board, and they bring crucial team play.
  • Sprout – What can I say? Sprout is essential. With their speed, stamina, and healing abilities, they’re the backbone of any team. They heal, they move fast, and they’re versatile, making them a must-have in every run.
  • Looey – Looey’s versatility shines through. Great speed, decent distraction ability, and excellent extraction make Lou a solid A-tier pick, though their one-heart downside is tough to ignore. Still, they’re worth the risk and should be placed just below Pebble.
  • Astro – Astro’s speed and stamina are fantastic, plus the ability to provide crucial support in tough situations. Top of A-tier, no question.
  • Vee – A solid A-tier contender, Vee brings strong team synergy and good stats. She’s great in most scenarios, but not quite the game-changer Shelly or Tisha are.

B Tier

  • Goob – Goob’s just too cute to ignore. Plus, he’s a fantastic distractor and a great support Toon. When you need to make a mad dash for the elevator, having a Goob on your team is priceless.
  • Cosmo – Cosmo’s ability to trade hearts is unique, but it comes with risks. However, his solid stamina and stealth make him an essential support character, and he’s definitely better than Tan at the moment.
  • Glisten – Glisten’s speed and stamina are good, but they’re still a bit underwhelming compared to others in A-tier. I’ve placed them just above Teagan, but they can’t quite match up to the top-tier Toons.
  • Teagan – Teagan’s extraction abilities aren’t to be underestimated, but they don’t shine quite as brightly as others in A-tier. Still, they bring solid support to the team.
  • Flutter – Flutter’s four-star speed and stamina make them a great support Toon, but when compared to others in B-tier, they’re not quite as impactful as they could be. They’re good but don’t stand out like some others.
  • Connie – Connie’s ability is cool, but that one-star speed? Ouch. If they bumped her ability to 8 seconds, she could become a real contender. For now, though, she’s just above Boxten in B-tier. Potential, but not there yet.
  • Boxten – Boxten’s just not doing it right now. A bit too slow and underwhelming in a team setting. Better luck next time.
  • Razzle & Dazzle – One of the most favorite Toon of the community, but I’ve got to be honest—Dazzle’s not good enough. It’s a mixed bag, really fun to play, but the stats are just too mid. Razzle’s great, but Dazzle drags them down to a B tier at best.
  • Gigi – Gigi’s luck-based abilities can be a gamble, but with a five-star skill check and decent stealth, they’re a valuable extractor. They might not be as reliable as the top-tier, but they certainly hold their own.
  • Rodger – Rodger is the definition of a B tier Toon. Solid, reliable, and great for getting research and capsules from encountering Twisted. When a new update drops and new Toons are released, Rodger’s the one you want to master. He’s okay in the game, but his passive ability is what makes him shine.

C Tier

  • Brightney – Her ability is a lifesaver during blackouts, especially against Goob, Scraps, and Pebble. As you progress deeper into the game, blackouts become more frequent, with a 1/3 chance of happening from floor 15 onward (1/4 if you’re using Electrician).
  • Finn – Finn’s four-star skill check is decent, but that’s about it. With a lackluster extraction ability and underwhelming overall stats, he’s nothing special in the current meta.
  • Toodles – Even after some buffs, Toodles still feels lackluster. Their utility just doesn’t compare to others, and they’ve earned their spot at the bottom of the list.

D Tier

  • Scraps – Scraps isn’t that great of a Toon. Sure, their stamina is great, but that’s about it. Even after the slight buff, they still don’t feel like they’ve been reworked enough to make a real impact. Still stuck in D-tier for now.
  • Poppy – Poppy’s a D tier. She’s the worse version of Boxton. When you start the game, you have a choice between Poppy or Boxton; one’s an extractor, the other a distractor. But Poppy’s the worst distractor in the game. Slow movement speed, slow stamina, and a speed boost that only kicks in after you’ve been attacked? No thanks.
    • Poppy needs some serious buffs to stand out. Not great in terms of extraction or team play, they’re simply outclassed by everyone else in the game right now.
  • Shrimpo – No explanation needed. Worst toon in the Dandy’s World.
