Warhammer 40K Darktide just released and with it a flood of players purging the heretics for the God Emperor of Mankind, whether they like it or not. The game is set in the Warhammer 40k universe, thus the name, and it involves cultists and demons of Nurgle as a bunch of rejects try to survive under the Inquisition’s missions. The game features a lot of classes with their own abilities and traits that you can get through leveling, and of course people are wondering how fast can you level in the game. In this guide we’ll show you some tips on how to reach level 30 fast in Warhammer Darktide.
How To Reach Level 30 Fast In Warhammer Darktide
The game is a horde shooter much like the rest of the Tide series by Fatshark but even with the hordes of enemies that you slay you also have to do missions. These missions can range from simple kill missions to things more complex, and there’s different rewards you can get as well. What we want is to get to level 30 fast so here is how you do it.
Missions
You might think that going through the harder difficulties can be the quickest way to get there but it’s highly suggested that you only do this if you have a dedicated team and not some randoms. These missions can have a high failure rate if you don’t know what you’re doing and will actually negatively impact your progression if you keep on losing. Go for difficulty 1 or 2 missions to get a consistent flow of XP.
The best missions to get are Assassination missions since they’re the quickest, just go to the end of the mission and defeat the target. Avoid investigation missions since they’re the ones that take the most time.
You might see these missions that have a yellow arrow pointing up or down, that’s the intensity of the zone. Pointing down means lower number of enemies and hordes, which means you can go through them quicker. Avoid high-intensity missions since this is usually much more difficult.
Curios
Curios slots are unlocked at Level 8, 16 and 24 and these curios can give you a wide range of different bonuses. There are some Curios though that give extra XP and they can stack with all 3 slots so keep that in mind.
Bonuses and Demonhost
Bonuses like Grimroirs can give you extra rewards and XP but it’s best to avoid hunting for them. When you accidentally find one then pick it up but don’t waste time finding them.
The Demonhost is a difficult enemy to kill and is often totally optional, don’t waste your time going against it because it might even lead to a failure.
