Since the release of Dave the Diver V 1.0, players can now enjoy more missions as 2 new chapters had been added. You can now explore even deeper and find more hidden treasures. You can even uncover secrets, buried in the sand for centuries.
In this article, I will help you complete the mission called Find the Vortex. Also, I will include the location of the new boss named Klaus, and what you need to know about the new boss. I recommend you prepare yourself for something big under the sea.
Find The Vortex Mission
The Find the Vortex mission is the only way to fight the boss called Klaus. This mission is given by Clara. Your main objective here is to find a whirlpool created by a large shark that killed the husband of Clara, which is Klaus by the way.
Here’s what you need to do to find the vortex:
- To find the whirlpool. head to the far right side of the map, ranging from 25 to 50 meters below. However, if you’re planning to do this on a normal day, the whirlpool will not appear. This can only be done during stormy nights.
- Once you find the vortex, all you need to do is approach it and you will be teleported to the boss. Make sure you prepared yourself for this boss fight. I can assure you it’s not going to be easy.
How To Defeat Klaus
Upon entering the whirlpool, you now have a chance to take revenge for the death of Clara’s husband. However, killing Klaus is not easy. If you didn’t come prepared, you’re likely to fail this boss fight.
Here’s how you can defeat Klaus easily:
- First, avoid all its attacks as possible as you can. Taking damage from Klaus can be deadly, especially if your tank is not upgraded that much.
- I recommend that you use your gun in this fight. However, make every shot count since you only have limited bullets.
- Your main goal here is to get underneath Klaus. Doing so will prevent the boss from damaging Dave, especially when Klaus uses its dashing attack.
- Avoid the whirlpools that he creates using his tails, as this can do heavy damage to Dave.
- Once you defeat Klaus, Clara will appear and she will do the finishing blow. After that, you can proceed to loot Klaus and you will receive a new ingredient called Klaus’s Fin.
That’s it! you’ve helped avenge the death of Clara’s husband and she finally killed Klaus with your help. Even though the boss fight was very taught, it was still worth it for that fatty Shark Fin. Give it to Boncho for delicious sushi!
