Where to Catch Harlequin Hind & Coral Trout
Both the Harlequin Hind and Coral Trout and required as part of Michael Bang’s Inspiration side quest. This requires the player to catch 3 Harlequin Hind and Coral Trout alongside White Rice and Titan Triggerfish.
Harlequin Hind
The Harlequin Hind can be found in the Blue Hole, around 60 meters and deeper. It is a small fish that is identifiable by its Turquoise color. It is recommended to catch these using the Harpoon or the Tranquillizer to ensure the highest possible grade.
Additionally, for identification, these fish will be marked with a Light Blue Diamond waypoint since these are quest items. Beware of the Cuttlefish in this area since if you get close enough to them, they release ink that will cloud your vision. This might result in the Harlequin Hind and Coral Trout disappearing.
Coral Trout
The Coral Trout can also be found at the same depth as the Harlequin Hind. These fish can be identified using the waypoint or their Bright Orange color. Once again, it is recommended to catch these using your Guns to preserve the grade. When caught, the Coral Trout will resist so players will need to repeatedly press Spacebar to make sure that the fish does not escape.
Additionally, at deeper depths, it might be possible that you encounter fish that are aggressive. Upon sight, these particular fish will attack Dave, so make sure to steer clear of them or make sure that you have enough ammo. They can usually be identified using the Red Marker on them.
