Dawn Piece is an RPG style game on Roblox that has recently had a big update. Alongside bosses, traits, accessories and more, you can also unlock new specs. Most players have been pretty excited to try out the new Grimmjow (Lux) spec. Can’t figure out the complicated requirements for this spec? Not to worry, we have you sorted. In this guide, we’ll show you exactly how to get it, including a showcase of the moveset. Let’s get into it!

How to Unlock Grimmjow & Showcase

Grimmjow (Lux) is a spec that can be obtained on the new Hueco Mundo island. You can also get it directly by purchasing it from the Shop for 999 Robux. However, we’ll show you how you can get it for free.

Grimmjow NPC Location (Lux Seller)

To find the Grimmjow (Lux Seller) NPC, you’ll need to head to the new island. To get there, you’ll first need to head to Logue Town in Dawn Piece.

Go to the lighthouse in the corner and you should find the Kisuke NPC. Talk to him and he will tell you that he can open a portal to Hueco Mundo for $50,000. Once the portal is open, head inside.

The portal will directly take you to Hueco Mundo. You’ll find all of the new content from the latest update on this island.

To find the Lux Seller NPC, head towards the left and look behind a rock and building. You should be able to find the Grimmjow NPC. This NPC is different from the Grimmjow boss.

Speak to the NPC and he’ll tell you all the requirements. As you can see, there are a lot of requirements. So, let’s take a look at how you can fulfill them all.

Grimmjow Spec Requirements

To unlock the Grimmjow Spec, you’ll need to fulfill the following requirements in Dawn Piece:

  • $50,000,000
  • Cerulix x1
    • Can be obtained from the Grimmjow boss at a 0.5% drop rate
  • Soul x10
    • Dropped by Hollows and Arrancar mobs
  • Iron x1000
    • Dropped by mobs on Starter Island
  • Gold x500
    • Obtained from mobs on Orange Town
  • Hogyoku x1
  • Espada Race.

The last two requirements for the Lux Spec have their own series of requirements. Let’s take a look at how to get each of them.

To get the Hogyoku in Dawn Piece, you’ll need to talk to the Aizen NPC that can be found nearby on Hueco Mundo. Here are the requirements you’ll need to fulfill:

  • $10,000,000
  • Soul x100
  • Gold x250
  • Iron x500
  • Boss Fragments x10
    • Dropped from all bosses with a 50% chance (quest bosses not included).

Some players have also found that Hueco Mundo bosses drop the Hogyoku too. So far, we have not been able to confirm this.

The Espada Race is by far the hardest item to get as it requires a lot of luck. Starting off, you’ll need to head to Logue Town. Here, make your way to the Race Reroll NPC.

You’ll need to keep rerolling until you get the Hollow Race, which is a Mythical rarity race. This is the highest rarity, so this part will likely take you a lot of time. It is crucial you get this race if you want to get Grimmjow.

When you get the Hollow Race, press the Y key and you’ll see a message appear saying ‘Not enough hollow experience’ with the amount you need. This amount indicates the power you need to advance to the next race.

You’ll need 1000 hollow experience to advance.

You can get this power by killing enemies, each of which give different experience:

  • Hollows give 5 experience per kill
  • Arrancars give 10 experience per kill
  • Bosses give 25 experience per kill.

Once you have fulfilled the 1000 experience requirement, press Y to transform from Hollow to Arrancar. Next, you’ll need to fulfill the 1000 experience requirement again to advance to the next race from Arrancar.

So, repeat the same process that you did before. Pretty grindy, we know!

You’ll also need a Hogyoku, whose requirements we went over previously. When you hit Y to transform, it will consume the Hogyoku, transforming you from the Arrancar race to Espada Race.

Sometimes, it will show your race as Arrancar even though you are the Espada Race. This is nothing but a visual bug, so don’t worry!

Once you have fulfilled all these requirements, return to the Lux Seller NPC to get the Grimmjow Spec! These requirements are understandably difficult to fulfill. So, we’ll be looking at a quick showcase of the moves to help you decide!

That’s everything you need to know about unlocking the Grimmjow Spec in Dawn Piece. As you can see, it is a very difficult spec to get, especially the Espada Race. This is because it can require grinding and a lot of luck. But as the showcase shows, the moves are certainly worth the effort provided they suit your play style!
