The Nurse is one of the Killers you can choose to play in Dead by Daylight. The nurse has unique abilities and is currently one of the most powerful killers in the game. This guide will show you how to play the Nurse, her builds, and her strengths.
How to Play Nurse – Dead by Daylight
One of the unique abilities of the nurse is her ability to blink. She can blink or teleport two times, allowing her to close in on the survivors. Her blink is the most important part you need to learn to play the Nurse properly.
Her blink can ignore pallets, windows, and other walls. However, keep in mind that the Nurse has one of the slowest movements in the game. In fact, she moves slower than the survivors so you need to rely on your blink most of the time.
The Nurse can also teleport from the lower ground level to the upper ground levels of the map using her blink skill. The nurse’s main weakness is her complexity to learn and mastering. If you are new to playing her, you may blink incorrectly, leading you to a different floor or area.
You also cannot cancel your first blink and she only has a movement speed of 3.85 meters per second. The nurse is hard to play on maps like the Lery’s memorial institute because they have multiple sight blockers.
For your add-ons, use Heavy Panting and Kavanagh’s Last Breath. She works best in Midwich Elementary School offer Mary’s Letter whenever you can. For her perks, use Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance, Barbecue, and Chili, Pop Goes the Weasel, and Call of Brine.
These perks can help give you information about the location of the survivors and any generators that are being repaired. If you want to focus on downing survivors, you can also add Lethal Pursuer, Starstruck, Barbecue and Chili, and Infectious Fright for your perks.
If you are new to using the nurse, Bitter Murmur, Thanatophobia, A nurse’s calling, and the Jolt are great perks. When it comes to her blink, the Nurse’s first blink has a maximum distance of 20 meters and her second blink has a maximum distance of 12 meters.
The longer you charge your blink, the farther you will travel using your blink. If she closes her fist, it means that the blink is fully charged. Usually, you will use your first blink to close the gap and the second blink to correct your position.
After a blink, you have 1.5 seconds to charge a second blink or hit a survivor. If you did not do any of those, you will get fatigued. When fatigued, your camera will be pointed to the ground and you will move even slower.
The more blinks you use and if you attempt to attack and miss, your fatigue duration will be longer.
