That’s right, Rikky’s back and is still surprisingly alive, it’s nice to know that stoners are even more common in Dead Island 2. Anyway, he needs another favor done and since you’ve done him a solid before, it would seem right to do him another one.
What he wants is inspiration, to do that he’s going to need a hi-fi copy of his old tapes during his glory days. This could be anywhere, but in this guide, you’ll be able to resurrect the Rex by finding his tapes somewhere within the neighborhood.

Since there’s a strong community of party animals within the neighborhood, Rikky won’t be able to accompany you down the block to get the tapes. Instead, he’ll just tell you to find his producer Freddie, they’re tight with each other so all you need to do is get to his house downhill.
Zoom past the garage and hang right after you vault over the front gate. Go down the stairs and you’re already there, you just need to jump over the fence using the white van to get inside Farouk’s house.
The front door will be locked, because why wouldn’t it be? Luckily, Dave is just out to the right wandering about, he’s not really in any condition to give you a tour of the house so pop a bullet in between his eyes and grab the keys from his body to continue.
Get rid of the Crusher by the front door and proceed to the living room, the first tape is right in the middle next to a corpse.
The second tape is right up the stairs, make a 180 going to your left to find it sitting on top of a gold-plated cabinet of some sort.
The last one is on the balcony, there’s a few groupies here that will get in your way so either fight them or give them the slip. After that you can head back to Rikky’s house to finish the quest and get your reward.
