Dead Island 2: Safe-Deposit #33 Key Location | How to Unlock Safe-Deposit Box #33

You may have noticed that there are some body bags lying around the Halperin Hotel. If you’ve been doing the main quest of Dead Island 2 you know that these are up for disposal. Knowing that they might have some valuables that’ll get melted along with the rest of the evidence is quite a waste. But don’t worry, you still have the Safety Deposit Boxes to loot!

The only thing you have to worry about is now is scouring the entire 313 rooms of the hotel just to find five keys to the lockboxes back in the lobby. But that’s what we’re here for, make everything easier by reading the guide on how to find Safe-Deposit Key #33!

Safe-Deposit #33 Key Location

Finding the key will be easier if you’ve already finished the “Room Service for Major Booker” main story quest. In that quest you would’ve already opened a majority of the locked doors around the hotel. Safety-Deposit Key #33 can be found in an elevator on the upper floors.

The map doesn’t really show the individual floors of the hotel so we’ll guide you to it every step of the way. Don’t forget to grab Safe-Deposit Key #09 near the reception desk back in the lobby though, that one you can get without having to finish anything!

Now we’re going to work our way to the backside of the hotel. From the reception desk in the lobby, go straight into the garden area.

Make a right turn towards the gate that leads to the ballroom where Becki the Bride used to be.

Keep heading right and you’ll be right next to the ballroom.

Follow the corridor and make another right turn as soon as you get out. You should reach the room with the whiteboard that has a winding staircase that goes to the upper floors by now.

Once you arrive at the upper floors, head through the double doors and into the hallway to the left.

Run past the neon lights where the Laundry Room is and make a left turn to see the two elevators. It’s just a few seconds of running as you won’t be moving away from the hallway at when going to the back.

Now that you’re here, all you have to do is call the elevator by using the switch on the left. There’s a few zombies inside that won’t really give you any trouble if you say “excuse me.”
