The Search for the Truth is the 21st mission of Dead Island 2. In this quest segment, you will find Tisha, and once you meet an enigmatic person named Konradt, you will now learn the extreme gravity of the situation. This article would serve as a guide for you to tread on the story easily while coping with the hard truths you will find along the way.

The Search for the Truth Guide

After learning of Tisha’s absence at the end of the mission the Boardwalking Dead, leave the Serling Hotel Grounds through the ground floor shopping area doors and cross the road.

Head towards the path in front of you and turn left before you reach the water sprinklers. You’ll see a Crusher smashing a door.

Kill the Crusher Zombie then head to the second floor and enter the room far down the hall leading into the kitchen section and speak with Tisha. Both of you will agree that Dr. Reed is indeed appearing to be hiding things, and an enigmatic person named Konradt is an ideal person to seek answers from. Now you have to find him.

Go back out of the building and head towards the left. Trudge through the narrow alley and you’ll arrive at the OSK store in no time.

Open the doors and head to the far wall to speak the safe or code word to sKOpe. Though they are offline, which means they need rebooting.

In order to find the keypad to open the door, you have to kill our little friend Henry here. After killing him, the Server Room Keycard should drop. Return to the Keycard reader immediately and open it.  Then head to the right side of the room and between the two furthest shelves will be a lever. Activate the lever and go near it to interact.

With the electric supply restored, head out and expect a mob of zombies awaiting for your juicy meat. Kill them all.

Make sure to destroy the wall alarms to ensure that the breaking of glasses courtesy of the Screamers won’t screw your day.

After finishing off the zombies, head to sKOpe and after an exchange of code words, you will hear a recorded conversation of Dr. Reed with an unknown person seemingly immune. After the conversation ends, you receive a text with an image file. Examine it to see the Randgate building service entry 7 photo. You have to find the location to progress. Head out of the building via stairs.

You will encounter zombies. Not much of a fret. Just kill them. Move forward up to the ambulance and head left, then right upwards a slope.

You will then radio Tisha to open the door and you will be greeted by 4 Hazmat Walkers along with a Caustic X Walker, and a Screamer. Kill them all.

After killing the zombies, head to the back side of the room where you will find a maglocked door. There are 3 different colored lights which means you have to destroy 3 separate power panels. Use the wirings as lead towards the panels.

After destroying all the 3 panels, head towards the Maglocked door once again and enter Dr. Reed’s Lab. You will then see a glass box ahead of you, where a table is set and a laptop sits on top of it. Inspect the laptop and other adjacent items on the table. The Blood Drive prompt will pop out of the laptop. Before activating it, ensure that you are well-armed and healthy, for a boss fight is underway….

Specimen Noah is the first mutator-type zombie that you will encounter. It will appear as a lesser zombie in a distance… until it gets close to you and surprises you.

Keep attacking Specimen Noah. A prompt will automatically make you pop your fury mode automatically. This is story-driven so no worries. Keep whacking Specimen Noah ‘till he drops. You will then lose consciousness. You will then wake up seeing Konradt standing in front of you along with her two friends.

Speak to Jimmy in Dr. Reed’s room, (Don’t be afraid he’s only going to shoot the laptop) and the mission will be concluded.
