The Dead Space series has always been one of the more well-known in terms of the Sci-fi horror genre. Along with games like Alien Isolation, this game made a lasting impact on the players that experienced it for the first time.
A lot of games tried to recreate that spark, but they didn’t really capture it fully. Well now you can since there’s a remake of the first game of the series! The Dead Space Remake doesn’t only update the graphics but also adds a lot more to the fame for old fans to experience.
In this guide, we’ll show you how to get all the Collectibles in Chapter 10 of the game.
All Collectibles Chapter 10 End of Days – Dead Space Remake
Most of the collectibles in the Dead Space Remake can be found in any chapter except for Chapter 11 and beyond, although some of them can only be found through side quests.
In this list, we’ll be stating what kind of things you need to get or do to get certain collectibles. Now let’s see what collectibles you can get in the game!
Quest Item – Benson’s Rig
The first one on the list is a quest item for the side quest “You are not Authorized”.
From the Main Atrium in the Bridge go to the room to the upper right, through the hallway until you reach some stairs going down.
Once down the stairs go to the side and look back and you can find the rig to the right.
Security Clearance 3
For the next one go back to the Atrium and use the elevator to the Captain’s Nest and Escape Pods section. Once down the elevator go through the two sets of doors and to the back of the room to the right is where you can get Security Clearance 3.
This should complete the quest “You are not Authorized”.
Weapon Upgrade – High-Yield Grenades [Pulse Rifle] and Node #1
Back to the Atrium, you now need to go to the elevator going up to the Water Purification area.
Once up, go to the right and go to the room called “Purification Storage.” There you’ll find a locker with a weapon upgrade as well as a node.
Weapon Upgrade – Precision Lasers [Line Gun]
For the next one, you’ll need to go to the Hydroponics section using the tram. Go to the Hydroponics Central Hub and go through the door labeled “To Mining Tram Station”.
Just in front of the door is where you can find another weapon upgrade.
Node #2
From the Central Hub, go to the door labeled “To West Tower.” Then go through the “To Flow Control” door and the second door to the left has another node for you.
Node #3
In the same area, you can use an elevator to go up and to the West Grow Chamber, there you’ll see an elevator in the middle. Take that and go left to the Hydroponics Control room.
To the left is a room labeled “Nutrition Systems” filled with Toxic clouds. To the right of the door is another node.
Log #1 – Working Discreetly
From the previous collectible, you can also go to the Diagnostics Lab, there you can find an Audio Log that is the end of the side quest “Premeditated Malpractice”.
Weapon Upgrade – Carbon-Fiber Blades [Ripper]
For this next collectible, you need to go to the Engineering/Mining area using the Tram. Once you get there go to the Engineering Section, turn right, and go through the door labeled “Preparation Room.”
There’s another door there that leads to a walkway going down. Go down and go to the back of the walkway to find a chest where the weapon upgrade is.
