In Destiny 2 there will be tons of strategies and ways of playstyle for choosing. When it comes to the Legendary Fusion Rifle you’ll also be seeing a bunch of choices. In this guide, we will be showing you the most used and effective build. Let’s get started.
Legendary Fusion Rifle | Riptide God Roll Guide – Destiny 2
This is a Fusion rifle so it means that you’ll be firing a lot of bullets in a very short manner. This is how the stats on this gun look:
- Impact 55
- Range 21
- Stability 31
- Handling 50
- Reload Speed 45
- Aim Assistance 31
- Airborne Effectiveness 3
- Zoom 15
- Recoil Direction 53
- Charge Time 500
- Magazine 7
PvE
When it comes to PvE situations you will always want to go for the maximum need for speed. Shooting as fast as you can is something that comes in very handy against NPCs. This means that you can use it almost like a shotgun in close-range situations too.
Some good perks to use:
- Successful Warm Up – Each final draw will increase the charge and draw speed. It can stack up and make a very big difference to the original state of the rifle.
- One Quiet Moment – It will grant you reload speed when you’re out of combat. This is extremely useful but you’ll need to be smart when you use it. It will make you feel like there’s actually no reload timer at all.
- Golden Tricorn – The final blow with this weapon will grant bonus damage. When the buff is actually active, you’ll get an increase in the damage of grenades or melee kills.
- Chill Clip – If you do a direct hit with the top half of your magazine it will cause a detonation on impact with your enemies. This will slow down the enemies next to them.
- Frenzy – Being in combat as long as possible will mean that you’ll get better overall stats for everything with this gun(stability, handling, reload…).
- Cornered – Faster Charge Time when you’ll be surrounded by enemy NPCs. The more there will be the better your gun will be.
- Well Rounded
- Steady Hands
- Heating Up
- Stats For All
- Feeding Frenzy
- Arrowhead Brake
- Smallbore
- Polygonal Rifling
- Accelerated Coils
You will want to pick the Charge Time Masterwork for this gun. It will increase the fire rate drastically and really make an impact on the overall situation when fighting NPCs.
For Weapon Mods, you’ll want to pick up Back–Up Mag. Get a lot of kills with the help of extra bullets in your magazines. You’ll think it won’t change a lot, but when you have more ammo size it means you can kill a whole lot of enemies more, especially when combined with the fast reload speed.
PvP
Some good perks to pick up for PvP situations for this rifle:
- Perpetual Motion
- Autoloading Holster
- Feeding Frenzy
- Under Pressure
- Unrelenting
- One Quiet Moment
- Vorpal Weapon
- Cornered
- Succesful Warm-Up
- Demolitionist
- Particle Repeater
- Arrowhead Brake
- Polygonal Rifling
All of these perks more or less will give you a better stability rate, and fire rate, and when it comes and if it comes to close combat situations you’ll also be able to better situate yourself without an issue. Still, for PvP, it depends on your playstyle, but this is what most of the players have been using for maximum effectiveness.
For a Masterwork, you will also want to max up Stability to a 10. And again, as for PvP it’s again up to your playstyle. You can go with Handling or maybe even Reload Speed, or maybe even Charge Time.
For Weapon Mods, you will again want to stick with the friendly Back–Up Mag. It will take you out of many difficult situations and you’ll never want to not use it again.
That should be it! Stick with these perks and mods and you’ll maybe fall in love with this weapon and might just become your favorite. Have fun!
