A new event is upon us! Well, it is not really new but it has returned after a while. It is different from before and it comes with a fully new setup farm for getting some very cool high-stat armor. Let’s see what you’ll have to do in this Solstice 2022 Guide.

Fast Silver Leaves Farming, High Stat Armor & More | Solstice 2022 Guide – Destiny 2

Solstice is finally back for 2022. It was shaken up a bit this time with a couple of changes. The process of upgrading your gear is a little different than from what it used to be. Big thing is that in this event you’re not able to wear previous event armor.

Solstice is a great time to farm for high-stat armor with some very specific stat rolls for people with end-game content. You’ll be able to get a high stat piece of armor within 30 minutes with the ability to choose 20 of one stat and 10 of another at a minimum, which is fantastic.

Currencies

There are 3 currencies in Solstice:

  • Kindling – This comes from event challenges. Every time you complete a challenge you’ll be given 1 Kindling. There are 24 challenges in total which means that you’ll be able to get 24 Kindling. These challenges are press class, not account-wide. You use Kindling to upgrade your Candescent Armor. The first upgrade is 1, then 2, and then 3 for the final one. This is how you can get the glow effect on your armor. Kindling is only needed once per slot. So once you fully upgrade your armor piece any armor drops of that piece will already be fully kindled.
  • Silver Leaves – They can be turned into Silver Ash in the Bonfire Bash which is the activity of the event. They come literally from most and any activities in the game. Even wearing event armor pieces will give you Silver Leaves. This is how you can get leaves in the game:
    • Crucible – 4/5
    • Strikes – 5/6
    • Gambit – 4
    • Nightfall – 7/11
    • GM NF – 13/15
    • Sever/Containment – 0(bugged?)
    • Preservation Mission – 0
    • Wellspring – 8
    • WQ Mission – 15

  • Silver Ash – The bonfire even is how you can get the Silver Ash. There will be enemies coming your way and you’ll just need to throw the ball into the Bonfire Bash. Notice that you can throw the ball from every far away so this can be your best tactic. After 8 minutes or 20 balls thrown, a boss will spawn. After the boss dies you’ll receive x5 times how many Silver Leaves you had thrown inside the fire pit. For 20 balls you’ll get 100 Ash. Note that you must be in Solstice Armor during the entire Bash!

Armor Upgrade And Best Farm Method

You use the Ash to upgrade your Candescent Armor. First, throw some Kindling into your armor then you’ll need to use 20 Ash in order to upgrade the stats of your Armor Piece. This will thereafter unlock the next tier of Kindling and Ash.

You will need a total of 60 Ash along with 3 Kindling if you want to go for that final upgrade and tier. On this final tier, you’re able to select which stat will roll with at least 20. You can combine this effect with a Ghost Mod.

This is the main farm of this event. Easy to get high stat roll armor. You can get a high stat armor piece at a rate of about 1 piece every 30 minutes after you’ve upgraded a piece to its maximum kindle. Here is how you can do this:

  • Run the Investigation mission 2 times. If you are able to use the checkpoint even faster than usual. Each run will take about 7-8 minutes so it will take you a maximum of 20 minutes to clear out both of them. This will take you to 30 Leaves assuming you have the armor on.
  • Then run Bonfire Bash. This will then take you another 8-10 minutes and then fully upgrade the armor piece and walla! That is it! High stat armor farming.

Follow the daily challenges that may differ from each other and keep on farming them. They offer very good prizes and rewards that will get you an even higher amount of rewards overall from this event.

Big thank you and credit goes to Datto for explaining all of this information in detail. You can check out his channel here.
