How to Farm Strand Meditations
Farming for Strand Meditations can be hard, because the drop chance is so low. However, Bungie realized that early on, and gave us a way to farm them. With Vex Incursion Zones, you can get an increase of Strand Meditations just by playing around the area. However, to actually farm Strand Meditations, you will need to do Patrols and such.
Any activity you can do in the Vex Incursion Zone, do it. The chances of drops are increased, which means that anything you do, like Patrols or Public Events, will have an increased chance to drop Strand Meditations. Make sure you also do it in a Fireteam of 3, as the drops become higher if you do.
