Destiny 2 has a lot of weapons to choose from. You can see your regular shotgun, sniper rifle, automatic machine gun… But only real pros and veterans will go for the bow and arrow. Whistler’s Whim God Roll Guide – Destiny 2
Whistler’s Whim is a Combat Bow – which means that you’ll move faster and draw quickly when the weapon is equipped. A very good bow indeed.
To get this Bow you are going to need to jump into Trials of Osiris. You can get inside this PvP mode only from Friday at reset until reset on Tuesday. You will need to find Saint–14 and speak to him, which is inside the Tower Hanger, and pick up your passage.
This is your ticket into the Trials. It looks like this:
Then just select the Trials of Osiris from the menu that will be given to you. You are going to need to get to Rank 16 to get your first Whistler’s Whim and to rank up, play Trials of Osiris to earn rank-up points by winning rounds. The more rounds you win, the faster you will rank up.
You get Rank up points even if you lose, so more or less you will need to be consistent and simply play this PvP arena. This will just take you a lot more time.
Once you have reached rank 16 then you will have your first roll of the Whistler’s Whim as a Rank up Reward and the weapon is then going to go into your Trials of Osiris loophole. This means that you’ll get different versions with a potentially better perk combination.
There are some special weekends where you’ll be able to get Adept Whistler’s Whim for extra earning points and ranks for it. You will need to get inside the lighthouse of Trials and get a Flawless card.
For PvP roll you will want to use this:
- Straight Fletching
- Rapid Hit / Rangefinder
- Kill Clip
For PvE roll you will want to use this:
- Straight Fletching
- Rapit Hit
- Archer’s Tempo / Kill Clip
You will want to use the Polymer String and a Draw Time Masterwork.
