A lot of people can say that Digimon is quite a strange universe, especially when one came from the world of Pokémon. Their “monsters” are all quite unique and outlandish with a more digital and mechanic feel than the mostly natural Pokémon. That’s what I thought when I first played Digimon when I was a young boy, but the designs were quite cooler in my opinion. So, upon hearing that a new Digimon game was coming out I wondered if it was time to go try Digimon again and as expected, it was more complex than I thought. In this guide we’ll show how to Digivolve in Digimon Survive!
How To Digivolve In Digimon Survive
Digimon is a bit different in their way of evolving their monsters, in fact they call it Digivolving here and their rules are a bit different. You see, Digimon are divided into two groups; Digimon that has a human partner and Digimon without a human partner like those you see in the wild. In Digimon Survive, the game has a system where while in battle the Digimon can Digivolve and go back to their base Digimon at will and is closer to how it works in the Anime. Digimon with a partner can Evolve to their stronger versions, but Digimon you’ll find in the wild without any partners need to Digivolve manually, plus they can’t evolve backwards.
To Digivolve a Digimon you first need to select a Digimon without a partner and go to the Evolution tab.
From there you can select which Digimon they’ll evolve to. Some Digimon can have multiple paths to choose from while others only have one or two paths, so look carefully at those lines in the middle of the evolutions to see where they can go.
Evolving a Digimon this way needs a certain item in the game called “Mature Enlightenment Slabs.” Once you have one and want to evolve a Digimon, just press yes.
