Discord continues to update itself with new features as time goes on. In the latest update, Discord has added the new Linked Roles feature. Now you may be a bit confused because you may have never heard of Linked Roles before on other websites, but that’s okay. Some people are just now hearing of such a thing. Which is why we are here to help you explain what are Linked Roles all about.
New Linked Roles Explained – Discord
What are Linked Roles?
So what Linked Roles essentially is: it is a new way to moderate channels easily. Let’s say you have a channel in your Discord server that is only specialized in Twitter content, or you have one that is all about Reddit content and other things. If you want to moderate users who can enter these channels and view the contents, the users need to link their Twitter or Reddit accounts in order to get the privilege.
In order to connect your Twitter or Reddit account, you will need to go to Settings > Connections then check the accounts you can connect. From Epic Games to Spotify, connect all the ones you have. Once you do, you can then go on Discord channels in servers that have Linked Roles active.
